Serene's P.O.V.

'Guardians were made to protect one world. This race were beyond others. The gods created them for their replacement. The gods disappeared and replaced by this creatures, Guardians. Guardians are known for having wings like angels and spirit guardian. Spirit guardian are animals that will protect their master, the guardian itself. They need to be accepted by a world for them to be a fully guardian. They were known for fighting the demons and bad creatures. This creatures were living in one island called, the island of guardians. But a sudden event happened. Years ago, their island was nowhere to be found. Their island was lost. No one knows what happened. The sudden disappearance of their island is a mystery. No guardian was left. They were all in the island. The island was lost together with the guardians. Now, they called the 'Lost Island of Guardians.'

Nandito ako ngayon sa library ng Fiore Palace. I'm waiting for the others to come.

Now I know what Ereese is.

She's a guardian. She's the last guardian.

Pero sabi niya ay may kapatid siya, meaning, dalawa silang guardian? Guardian din ang kapatid niya?

Iginugol ko ang mga vacant time namin dito sa library. Reading. Well, palagi naman akong nagbabasa pero nitong mga araw na nandito kami sa palasyo, ginugol ko ang oras ko sa pagbabasa at paghahanap ng sagot kung ano si Ereese.

Pero ayon sa iba pang mga librong nabasa ko, iisang ability lang ang meron ang mga guardian. At iyon ang Enhanced senses. At ang mga spirit guardians naman nila ay wala ding kapangyarihan. A guardian's guardian.

Ereese said that she's not a mage but she possess the blue fire, the hottest fire. Hindi pangkaraniwan sa isang guardian na magkaroon ng element. Pwera na lang kung may salin-lahi siya, I mean, baka hindi lang siya basta guardian.

"Serene? Bakit mo kami pinatawag?" Napatingin ako kay Jace ng pumasok ito sa loob ng library. Kasunod nito sina Ash at Lia.

Maya-maya pa ay pumasok na din sina Kyler, Nathan at Trevor.

"Anong meron?" Tanong ni Kyler.

Nakapalibot kami sa isang round table. Lots of book we're on the table. Iyong mga binasa ko kanina.

"Si Ereese?" Tanong ko.

"Nasa kwarto niya, kausap si mommy." Bagot na saad ni Trevor.

"What? Bakit mo siya iniwan kay mommy? Alam mo naman iyon, baka kung anong gawin niya kay bunso." Saad ni Kyler sa kapatid.

"Wala akong magawa kay mommy." Nagpadausdos pababa si Trevor.

"So, you found out?"

Napatingin ako kay Ashley. She's scanning the book.

Oh, right. Alam nga pala niya.

"Yeah. She's a guardian." Deretsang sambit ko.

"Who?" Magkasabayang tanong ni Jace at Nathan.

"Ereese. She's a guardian." Si Ashley ang sumagot sa tanong ng dalawa.

I heard gasped.

"Oh! That's explain here strength and ability!" Lia exclaimed. Here eyes were on the book I was reading before.

"Pero diba, nawawala ang ang isla nila? So as the guardians." Said Kyler, confused.

I shrugged. "Years ago. Sixteen years to be exact."
