Chapter 14 || The Party

"Hmmm," Killua hummed rubbing his chin between two fingers, without a word he dragged me back into his room and opened a drawer of his dresser. He looked through it for a second then turned back to me and grabbed my ear.

"Owww, Killua what the hell was that for," I yelled

Without reply, he turned around and rummaged through the drawer and pulled out a couple of necklaces slipping them over my head.

Killua vigorously shook his head, "Sorry I spaced out for a second, the reason I pulled your ears was to see if they were pierced," He said rubbing his neck, "I didn't mean to hurt you,"

"Don't worry about it," I said with a giant smile on my face

A light pink tint spread across his cheeks. Maybe he does like me.

Killua POV

It was now time to head to the party, Neon had shown up an hour before she was supposed to and was just sitting on the couch on her phone.

"Come on let's get going," I said snatching Gon's car keys from off the counter 

Neon leaped off the couch, "I'm so excited this is gonna be so fun," she giggled, "You know, it really sucks that you don't want to come,"

"Yeah," I said sarcastically, "I mean someone has to take care of your drunk asses right?"

She laughed and slipped on her shoes

"OI GON, I'M GONNA LEAVE YOU HERE IF YOU DON'T HURRY UP," I yelled opening the front door

"I'm coming I'm coming," He said sliding down the hall on his socks

I walked out the front door and started down the stairs, "Don't forget to lock the door," I said, "And if you lose your key I will kill you,"

Gon laughed and ran down the stair to catch up with me, "I won't, don't worry your pretty little head,"

"W-what,"

"Nothing, just don't worry about it," He said as we continued down the stairs

"Why do you guys walk so freaking fast," Neon asked running down the stairs

"Oh, sorry I didn't realize you had fallen behind," I apologized

"No worries,"

We continued down the steps and when we got to the bottom floor Kurapika ran up to me, "Hey Killua, I know this is last minute but could you guys give me a ride to the party," He asked walking alongside me

"Of course," I said smiling

"Thank you, you're a lifesaver,"

"Any time,"

Our group of, now, four people got to the car, "I call shotgun!" Neon yelled her voice echoing against the concrete walls of the parking garage

"It's this one," Gon said pointing to a Green 2016 Subaru

I got in on the driver's side, Neon got in on the passenger side, and both Gon and Kurapika sat in the back, I plugged the keys into the ignition, "Ok, is everyone ready to go?" I asked

"Yup!"

"Mhm"

"Yeah,"

I started up the car and put it into reverse backing out of the parking space, "Wow, Killua you're really good at driving," Neon said as I pulled onto the street

"Just because I don't have a car, doesn't mean I can't drive,"

Everyone laughed and I kept driving.
