Today was the day Cayde has been waiting for. The day he would pack up his shit and move to Italy. Yes Bella was still human but she was being changed when the pair came back from there honeymoon which would be in a week or so. He deemed it close enough and started packing yesterday
He was sorta sad about leaving his covern but the fact he was about to see his mate and bonded family. "We are going to miss you" Alice stood at his doorway watching him pack with a sad expression.
"I'll visit you know that Alice besides you guys are about to have a newborn around that is going to need you guys undivided attention soon enough" he says bringing a smile to the pixi girls face
"Loose one and gain one" he heard Rosalie mumble downstairs also sad about him leaving
Rushing downstairs with his bags he carried them out to his car only to frown once he saw Edward pull up with Bella. Both with a look of worry on there faces. "Your back early" he mused before hearing an extra heartbeat. He glanced down at Bella's stomach confused. "You cheated" he stated. It was the only logical explanation he could think of considering vampires couldnt reproduce making him smirk amused." And you allowed it" he added pointing at Edward who scowled at him
"It's mine" those two words made Cayde automatically think the worst. He followed the couple inside who started to explain what happen. Bella instantly was ushered into Carlisle office to get checked out.
The house instantly went quiet trying to hear what was going on and frankly Cayde was hoping for an abortion. Whatever was growing inside her was unknown. It could be just like if a child was turned.the blood lust and death toll would sky rocket .
"Cayde-" said male glanced at Edward and knew he was reading his mind
" I'm just thinking so don't judge. We don't know what this is regardless you should be minding your damn business and not in my head also -"
"Shut up, I agree with you" Edward snapped
" it's not my fault you can read minds your gift is an invasion of privacy and-" it took Cayde a good moment for Edwards words to reach making him stop talking and look at him surprised " give me one moment" and ran outside and instantly looked to the sky
"What are you looking for" Edward questioned following him out
"Flying pigs, a meteor,Aliens hell maybe even Jesus or Santa Claus screaming out ho ho ho with a bag of presents cause I'm not sure I heard you right or maybe hell just froze over or something " cayde rambled on still in a form of shock
"Is it that hard to believe that I agree with you " Edward snapped slapping the back of Caydes head to make him stop looking at the sky
Cayde hissed and glared at the male "actually yes it is you damn-"
"Language " Emmett yelled out from in the house followed by his laughing
"I'll break the t.v if you watch the avengers again" Cayde grumbled under his breath before picking up a duffel bag and putting it in his car
"Please stay for a little longer we may need your help" Esme asked walking outside
Cayde glanced at her and sighed " fine but I'm against whatever is in her and knowing her she is gonna wanna keep it" with that he speed to his room and locked the door. He owed Esme a lot being the mother he never had. If anyone else would he asked he would have been down the road already and on the first plane to Italy. Sadly that was not a case and he had a bad feeling about what was to come
