Everyone was worried about Bella. Cayde just didn't see the appeal to the human girl and as she swell up more each day at an alarming rate he could help but wonder if she would just pop open baby and all. They had told a certain mutt yesterday about the pregnancy not that it was really his business but he wished he could have seen Jake face. Cayde was banned from the house when they delivered the news knowing he would have made it worst
Cayde himself sat on the roof waiting for a fight to happen. He knew the pack was coming tonight to kill them. If it was his choice he would have just made to human abort it
"Good things it's your choice. Bella about to go into labor and the wolves are almost here "0 Edward says looking up at his younger brother with pleading eyes. "I'm asking you this once.please protect Bella"
Cayde was shocked to hear his request. Truthfully he was going to just going to watching the wolves stampede the house but now he wanted to help. Edward rarely ask him for anything to the point of almost begging." Fine but don't think for a second That I'm doing this for her" he snapped glaring down into the woods as he began to hear growling
"I know....thank you" with that Edward went back inside and the rest of his family came outside to confront the pack. It didn't take them long for the two sides to start fight. Cayde watched a little before standing up. He wanted to go after Jacob but said mutt didn't show up so Sam was now his focus.
He jumped down inches away from the wolf and threw him back."No hard feeling Sam, I have always wanted to be friends but know you know family above all I guess not that you really liked me to start" he rambled dodging another wolf he knew was Paul.
Cayde circled Sam who snapped and snarled at him on repeat. For some reason Cayde could tell Sam didn't actually want to hurt him.maybe it was because of all the small talks he endured at the boundary line but that didn't change anything. Right now it was concern versus pack and only one could come out victorious. With that thought in mind Cayde lunged tackling the oversized wolf to the ground. He easily landed a clean right hook to his muzzle before he was thrown off. "Come on Sam don't tell me that all the fight you have 'alpha' "he teased before kicking another wolf away once he got in the way. That was all he needed to say before Same lunged. Before either one could make contact Jacob jumped in front of the pair
"It's over" Jacob snapped glaring at Sam. It had little effect as said wolf flung Jacob away who shifted mid-air.
"Pack law states any imprint cannot be harmed" Edward mumbled glancing at Jacob wolf form.
Cayde simply snarled in disgust at Jacob not even caring that the pack left" that thing is not hanging around the house" he snapped looking at Carlisle
"Cayde not now"
"Then when" he snapped glaring at him. With one last glance he was gone running to the nearest hotel to stay at. He didn't want to deal with his family right now nor a crying baby and a mutt. To make matter worse Bella was going to be a newborn and he hated her. Getting a room quickly he grabbed a random human and drunk her dry. Carlisle rules be damned
