Cayde drain at least five people before coming back to his senses. The first thing he did was huh jane as if she would disappear if he let her go. In some ways he felt that way. Being betrayed by the family he has known for years really hurt him
"Are you ok now my love" jane questioned stoking his hair. Not wanting to talk he simply nodded and pulled away. Glancing towards his two brothers he gave them a tight smile knowing they could see thro
" what's gonna happen to them" he questioned coldly.
"Some of them will die as for the child I do not know" Felix answered
Nodding his head he started walking back to the clearing with his brothers on either side of him and Jane by his side . He didn't want anything to happen to his niece when she stood by his side against her family. The second they reach the clearing everyone went quiet and he walked towards his father and uncles.
"You should resting" Cauis advised
Cayde smirked at him slightly" I'm done resting" with that he turned and faced him niece while giving her a look.
She seemed to understand it since she let go of her mothers hand and rushed towards him ignoring the shouting from her family. The second she was in arms length he picked her up
"Don't hurt her" Bella screamed making him wince at her volume
"I'm not gonna hurt her why do you think the wolves didn't even make a move against me when she came,even her imprint stood at bay" he questioned glancing at Sam who nodded at him before walking around the group of vampires. The pack followed and now stood behind the volturi along with Jacob and his pack." I'll answer your confusion, I have always been some type of friends with them. Yes we were always on high alert but that never stopped me from talking to them for hours and somewhere along the way we became friends so hearing what you did to me of course they wouldn't go against me considering I never treated them any less that what they are" he commented ignoring the surprise looks he got from both sides
"You on the other hand treated them like dogs you could use and throw away when they only wished to protect the humans of this town even your daughter sees the wrong you guys have down" he added hugging his niece close.
With that being said he held his hand out to his uncle who quickly took it before nodding. "Isabella,Edward,Carlisle ,Vladimir,Stephan,Alice will all be sentenced to death for there crimes" Aro spoke out.
All at once there were cries of outrage that was quickly hushed as Sam growled out at the group.
As silence once again entered the clearing Rosalie and Emmett both stepped forward."We will like to join the volturi as long as we can keep our diet" Rosalie spoke up looking into Cayde eyes. "Your our brother and we love you yes we fight but all siblings do and we don't agree with-"
"You don't have to explain yourself sis, I always have known you didn't agree with the concern about anything yet you were overlooked by Carlisle in favor of Edward" He spoke before glancing at his father silently pleading for him to accept them
"Very well then, everyone else can leave but you will be watched for the time being" Cauis spoke out glaring at everyone until they left leaving the view Cullen family and there mates.
"And what of my daughter are you gonna really leave her without a mother" Bella snapped gimping to get some form of emotion out of Cayde
Surprisingly Renesme was the one to speak. "I love you mommy but I can't stand by you. I have looked into your mind. You never loved papa you only wanted to be a vampire and once you had me you thought you were special and show me off like some prize. Where was the love a mother is suppose to show her child" she questioned before hiding her face in Caydes chest.
The shock on her face instantly turned to rage but cause was having none of it. "I'm sure you can finish this up. I gotta speak with the pack" he says nodding at his uncles and father before leading the pack away from the execution that was sure to unfold. The only thing on his mind now was to see what to do with his niece. Would the pack keep her or would he and he visit for the sake of Jacob. He had choices to make and he hoped he made the right one
