It's been a long week. Cayde refused to go to school and stayed home. He would help Esme with errands before hiding away again. Today was different. Walking into the kitchen the whole family were cooking.
"Do I wanna know why" he asked smirking at Rosealie annoyed face
"Edward is bringing his human home" she snapped recieving looks from both Esme and Carlisle
Cayde growled lowly "and we are ok with this? A human knowing our secret. Thought that was a big no no" he leaned against the wall scrunching his nose up at the smell of food
"Because it is. We are at risk" Rosalie snapped picking up a bowl of salad just as Edward walked in with his blood bag
Edward instantly glared at him hearing what he thought of her. It was a warning and he so wanted to push his buttons till he snapped.
As everyone but the two pissed of vampires began to gush over the quiet human he couldnt help but glare at her. He knew she felt it when he began to squirm. Satisfied he went to walk away when Alice walked through the window with jasper hot on her tail.
She took one look at Cayde before grabbing his hand and pulling him towards the human. When she was close enough she hugged her.
"You do smell good" Alice sighed pulling back
Cayde smirked. "Dont she just smell intoxicating " he mused watching said humans eyes snap up to meet his. "I could eat her right up"
"Cayde introduce yourself and stop being mean" Esme ordered giving him a pointed look
"I'm Cayde the youngest and newest bambi eater beside jazz, and you are" He asked returning to his glare while speaking
"Bella what do you mean ba-"
"Now that introductions are out of the way, I will not be taking any questions save them for eddy" Turning around he grabbed a metal bat and went to leave the house
"Do not smash any cars" Emment called after him
"Or mutts" Rosalie grumbled under her breath
"Or houses" Esme chipped in
"And definitely no people,I dont need anymore people showing up at the hospital because you felt like your bat wanted to say hello to their face" Carlisle grumbled glaring at him as he stood in the doorway
"First off my bat did want to say hi so I let him. On a another note can I smash animals"
"Dude dont waist our food source "Emment shook his head at him wearing a cocky smile. "Unless you come across a bear then bash its head in"
Cayde glanced at Bella seeing her fearful eyes already watching him before he left into the woods. He walked towards the wolf territory before stopping on the other side of the stream. There was a growl before a black wolf he knew was Sam approached from the other side. Neither crossed the boarder.
Sam just making sure he would try anything like before and Cayde was just bored.
"I get that you hate vampires but you never stop to think about our feeling as you growl and snap at us" It was a random thought that he just had to get out. Of course he knew sam wouldnt answer considering he was in wolf form nor would he have if he was human. He just wanted to talk
"You I was poor before getting turned. I had wonderful parents before they were killed." He continued on. He didnt know why he was talking to the mutt he just felt like it. He could talk with his covern for he didnt want to be more of a burden and knowing them he may snap at one of them.
"I was a problem child, always fighting and getting into trouble. Much like now" he smirked before swinging his bat at a nearby tree. "I was viewed as a monster way before becoming one. Did you know I hated myself after the change" glancing at the wolf he couldnt help but laugh and swing at the tree again. "I loved the thrill of a fight but.....now I'll hurt another if I so much as touch them"
Cayde swung again and again feeling his anger rising with each word he said. "Why the hell am I even talking to you. You hate me" he yelled talking more to himself then the wolf that watched. "You want be dead. Hell I sometimes want myself dead. O didnt choose this life" he growled and hissed and when the three broke he moved on to the next one
"Why cant I control myself. I cant control my emotion or my lust yet" he stopped mid swing before looking sam in the eyes. "I dont think I want too. But I do but why?"
Cayde drew a blank while staring in his eyes. "Your boring to talk to" he stated resting his bat on his shoulder
"I'm going home. Let's talk again" Cayde smiled at the other before walking back towards the house. All previous thoughts pushed to the back of his mind. He had other things to worry about like how to kill Bella without Edward killing him in return. Oh how fun it will be to fight the golden boy
