"You all right?" Sam asks Bucky as the three of were in the plane, Sam and I were laying down across from each other a Bucky was sat on one of the big boxes. I was also pretending to be asleep to avoid another spat with Bucky.
"Let's take the shield, Sam. Let's take the shield and do this ourselves." Bucky suggests, I wanted to agree but I knew Sam wouldn't and for good reason.
"We can't just run up on the man, beat him up, and take it. Do you remember what happened the last time we stole it?"
"Maybe."
"I'll help you in case you forgot. Sharon was branded enemy of the state, and Steve, Rosie and I were on the run for two years. I don't know about you, but I don't wanna live the rest of my life la vida loca.We just got our ass handed to us by Super Soldiers, and we got nothing."
"Not entirely true." Bucky says before pausing, "There is someone that you should meet."

"Man what happened between the two of you." Sam asks after a while, whilst we were waiting to go wherever Bucky was taking us. "She didn't tell you?" Bucky asks as I continue to pretend to sleep. "No she won't speak about it, all I get from her is whatever she cries in her sleep."
"Well if she didn't tell you then maybe I shouldn't." He says quietly, "does she cry in her sleep a lot?"
"Every night, she has nightmares, she won't tell me what about. But they spook her. She wakes up to a frozen room almost always and peaceful sleeps like the one she's having now is rare, so rare I'd do anything to let her continue sleeping." Sam tells him making my eyes sting a bit.
"You know I never thought I'd say this but I miss the two of you being disgustingly all over each other." Sam says after another long pause making Bucky chuckle, "I miss it too." He says making my heart churn, "so you still love her?"
"Of course I still love her, I love her more than anything but...after what happened... I think she needs her space and it hurts but I'll give her as much space as she needs."
"The two of you are so stupid and so perfect for each other, cause she said the exact same thing about you."
"I don't know Sam, I don't know what she wants from me and I'm trying my best, if she wants me to be there for her I will be but she's acting like she wants nothing to do with me."

I guess pretending to sleep made me actually fall asleep because the next thing I remembered was darting up from yet another nightmare. "Hey, Rose hey you're fine. You're fine I'm here with you and we're safe, we're fine." Bucky is at my side in an instant whispering words of comfort to me as one of his hands cradles the side of my head and the other holds my hand.
"Bucky?"
"I'm here doll." He tells me which makes me cry, he leans forwards and wraps his arms around me whilst tracing shapes on my back to try and calm me down. "He- he." I can't get my words out but Bucky knows what I mean and he nods whilst continuing to comfort me, "I miss him so much Bucky." I whisper as he wipes my eyes. "I know rose, I miss him too."
