Alexis smiled as she walked through the flat as she saw that Iain was in the kitchen. She walked over to him and smiled as she wrapped her arms around him. He turned to face her and smiled

"hey" he said as she looked to him and smiled as he leant in and kissed him

"come back to bed" she said half asleep still. He turned to face her and smiled as he placed a hand on her cheek and smiled

"I wish that I could baby but we have to go to work and I know that you are tired but it will be worth it for poppy, our poppy" he said as she looked to him and sighed

"I know I'm just tired that's it" she said as he smiled

"I was thinking over having angel to stop sometime. I want her to know you and she is going to have another little sister. I'd love her to meet and love the, to be close" Iain said as Alexis looked to him and smiled

"if it is what you want then Of course if it's okay with ainslee of course" Alexis said as Iain smiled as he pulled her close and kissed her

"how did I get so lucky to have you" he said as she smirked

"you must of been a saint in another life, who knows" Alexis said

Alexis got to work and smiled as she saw ainslee as she stood with Sam and smiled as she walked into the staffroom as ainslee followed her and smiled

"is everything okay" ainslee asked as Alexis looked to her and smiled

"of course it is, I'm just tired and I'm pregnant and this job is exhausting" Alexis said as she sat down and groaned as she placed a hand on her bump and sighed

"I thought that I had done something" ainslee said

"no. I know you and Iain have angel together and I don't have a problem with that. I really don't we just all need to find a way to make it work. I mean she's going to have another little sister and we're all some sort of family and we need to find a way to make it work and Iain does want her to know her little sister" Alexis said as ainslee smiled

"yeah angel has been talking over her new sister and she is excited, I shouldn't of taken her away, cal died and I needed to get away and Iain let me take her I never meant to be away for so long. Keep him and angel lap art but he is a good dad and I know that she had missed him and I want to do whatever to make it work" ainslee said as Alexis looked to her and smiled

Alexis smiled as she walked into the ambulance bay as she saw iain. He looked to her and smiled

"hey, how are you feeling" he asked as she looked to him and smiled

"I'm good, I'm tired but I'm good. I know that it's hard with all that is going on but we will make it work and be a family that is angel in it and I know you have missed out on time with her but I swear it will all be okay" she said as he pulled her close and kissed her.

Alexis knew it wouldn't be easy but she knew she'd do anything so that they could be the family they wanted.
