He didn't have to stare. It really didn't help anything.

It was just so... embarrassing, and his presence didn't diminish the demeaning feeling.

Jimin wasn't the best truth be told. He was an actor and liked to tease; those two facts not mixing well and creating falsehoods that were constantly presented to you. Recently, you knew you had seen more of the real him, but something still seemed to constantly be lost in translation.

"Even how I feel about you?"

You were frustrated just thinking about it. You didn't need visions or memories to know that you weren't popular with guys when you were alive. Jimin had potentially met you when you were at your lowest point, so you always figured there was nothing to see.

So... how did he feel about you? You could kick yourself for not letting that conversation continue, because in your eyes you thought maybe Jimin had never felt too much. You were definitely friends, and the few instances that planted doubt in your mind had prevented you from ever thinking there could be more, but were you blind to something?

Was Jimin still hiding something from you that may have blatantly been there all along?

You weren't sure, but now that you knew how you felt about him, all you could feel was embarrassment and... irritation.

It wasn't fair. Why did you have to develop feelings for Jimin in such a situation? Were you a child? You hadn't even known him for too long, and the Between might have been the worst place of all time to feel anything towards anyone. 19 had broken you enough.

It wasn't like you could date. It wasn't even like you could be together at all. Not after 23 days.

You grit your teeth in the absurdity of it all as your coworkers looked on in amusement.

Jimin was sitting on a bench nearby the food truck waiting for you to finish work. He had sat there patiently for hours, clearly trying to catch your attention all day and attracting attention from other guests in the meantime.

He greeted all his fans with a wide smile, and you grimaced as he did so. He was practically beaming with his classic Park Jimin aura, and the guests loved it. He giddily laughed in an engaging way and talked with them casually, every so often shooting you a look as if to remind you that you were the reason he was there; not anyone else.

You did your best to ignore him, but the fact that he was waiting for you was obvious to everyone. He usually waited of course, but not for the entirety of your shift. He must have felt guilty not seeing you after work the day he went to meet with 05 so had left Hun in the hands of his brother to "make it up to you".

Honestly you wished he would leave so he could be less of a distraction. Your fingers drummed on the counter of the food truck as you found your eyes unable to stray from him for too long.

He really was attractive. You had known that from the beginning of course, and it hadn't been easy being in the presence of someone like him. He seemed to know he was good looking too; this fact really not helping anything. His soft lips were the same color as his hair, and his cute features were almost intoxicating for anyone that dared to look too closely.

Jimin looked good in anything he put on, and although today he only sported a sweater, you found yourself almost sweating from anxiety towards the way your heart reacted just being able to see him.

The only thing you could do was channel your feelings into anger.

You would ask him how he really felt just for closure once you built up the courage, but in the meantime, if he flirted with or confused you one more time, you were going to punch him in his attractive face.
