Vanessa's POV
" Look Vanessa... I love you so much. I feel like the days I can't come... Im letting you down." I heard Aaron say. It was the first thing I could hear in a while.

"You're not." I said, weak. "DOCTOR...SHES AWAKE." Aaron yelled across the hospital. I saw tears fall from his cheeks. He came over to my bed and held me hands and kissed them. "I'm so glad your awake, Vanessa Brooke. I love you so much." he said. "I know. and I love you too." I said.

"Hello Ms. Vanessa. It's nice to see that your awake." the male nurse smiled at me."It's good to be awake." I said. "Great. We are going to run some tests to make sure everything's okay, and if so, we will discharge you tomorrow. We recommend a world redound therapist who is right here in Los Angeles. We have scheduled a session for you and you can go from there." The nurse said. "Um excuse me... " I said walking after him, after they had taken my IV out. "Yes." the nurse questioned me.

"I don't need a therapist... Is there any way you can please cancel my session?" I asked. "Well we could but-." he tried to continue but I cut him off. "Your not my mother. Once my health is stabilized, your job is done. Thanks for the effort but if you could please cancel it, that would be great." I said. "Alright." he replied and dialed a number on the phone.

"You really should consider that session. Vanessa I know you think your better but you tried to kill yourself. " Aaron said as I walked back into the room. "That's not your place to tell me that Aaron. It was a spur of the moment and I will
never do it again." I assured him. "Promise?" he asked. "I promise." I said, and pinky swore him. He had told me about how Lily came, but was now in collage with the Jacks. She was dating Jack Johnson and Jack Gilinsky hadn't had a single date after what happened.

I had gained my strength back throughout my coma they said... which I don't understand could happen but apparently I got up and walked for a while in between months, and then went back into a coma.

I was discharged the next day and I went straight home. I was exhausted. I know what your thinking... how could I be exhausted after being in a coma for 3 months? Well, I had gained some strength back, but not all. I want a depressed person. What Jack did was wrong but what I did was very wrong as well. I got in bed and slept for a while. I woke up the next morning and walked down the stairs.

"Hello sweetie. Beautiful morning isn't it?" my mom said, cheerfully. My dad had left for work and my mom was leaving just now. Although my 24th birthday was almost here, my parents wanted me to live with them for a while. Lily and I were out of high school for about 6 years by the time I went to Magcon. Most of the boys at Magcon had also been. Aaron was going to turn 24 as well, we had the same birthday. It was next tomorrow, June 14th.

I heard a knock on the door. It was Lily. I think that is the hardest she has ever hugged me, and the hardest I have ever heard her. "Hey... wanna go surfing?" she asked me, jumping up and down. "How about we stay here and watch a movie on Netflix?" I asked. "Right... sorry." Lily and I both laughed and she came in. We gossiped for hours about her new college life and how she loved Jack so much. We fell asleep at like 3:00 am. I heard a door bell ring at 11:00 am. I opened the door and Aaron was standing in the doorway. At this point, I had gotten up and showered and Lily had left.

"Vanessa Brooke?". Aaron said. (brooke was my middle name). "Yes, Aaron Braden?" I replied in a silly tone. "Would you like to go on a drive with me?" Aaron asked. "Absolutely." I said. I locked the doors and got into shotgun. We drove off and laughed for about a half hour until I looked up from his eyes and saw a beautiful hill full of bright green grass.

Aaron looked into my eyes and smiled. "Would you like to go on a picnic with me?" Aaron asked. "Of course." I replied. We walked up the hill and Aaron set out a blanket. He set then picnic out on the blanket. The sun was shining, but not too bright, and there weren't too many clouds. Aaron opened the picnic box. "ooo what's that?" I asked. "See for yourself." he said. I took out sandwiches rapped in foil and some apple juice boxes. I unwrapped the foil to find two peanut butter and jelly sandwiches and the great was cut into hearts.

"This is so adorable Aaron! Thank you so much." I exclaimed.
