Chapter 8

We got onto the elevator. "So I don't want Jack to think we were together so you walk in and I'll wait a couple of minutes, ok?" he asked. "Of course, thank you so much for making me feel at home." I said, and kissed him in the cheek. At that time, the elevator door was already open. "Well well well... what do I see here? Vanessa and Aaron are cheating?" I hear a voice say. "WHO SAID THAT?" Aaron yelled, while protecting me. "All you need to know is Jack is my best friend and what I saw, I could tell him." Sammy Wilk walked out. "Sammy, what do you want?" I asked. "I wouldn't be talking to me like that, unless you want your relationship to disappear." he said.

"What do you want from me?" I asked. "How about you come back to my room and I'll let you know there". he said. "Fine." I said. "No, Vanessa are you crazy?" Aaron yelled. "Aaron, Jack can't know about this..." I say

Aaron POV
Is she crazy? "Vanessa it was a kiss on the cheek.. it didn't mean anything." I say. It hurt me inside to say that but I knew it was the right thing too do. I really like Vanessa. I know a lot of people don't believe in love at first sight but I definitely do. I came on so strong and I don't think it's fair to Vanessa what I did but I just think that it was the only way. She had a boyfriend.

Vanessa POV
"It doesn't matter Aaron, it was still a kiss." I say. "Whatever... don't listen to me. You'll be sorry." he said. "Do you want Jack to know or not?" Sammy asked. "No, let's go." I say. Aaron rolled his eyes and walked into the pool.

Aaron's POV
I walked into the pool room. "Hey Aaron, where Vanessa?" Jack G asked. "Um she didn't wanna come." Aaron said. "Alright guys, well I think I'm gonna go talk to Vanessa now, catch you guys later." Jack G said, drying off. "C'mon man, we haven't all spent time together since we got here, I miss you guys. Just stay a little longer please, somebody is talking to her up there." I say, trying to save their relationship. "Yea c'mon man. I mean I know you love her but we love you man." Shawn said. "Alright, alright." Jack G said getting back in the pool.

Vanessa POV
"Let's go." Sammy said, grabbing my hand lightly. "Sammy, honestly what do you want?" I ask. We walked into his room and he pointed his finger towed his bed. "You." he said. "I'm with Jack, Sammy and you know that." I say. "what did you think I wanted?" he asked. "I don't know but not this." I say. "Well sorry, your guess is Incorrect." he said. He started to kiss me and I didn't pull away. I wanted too, but I couldn't... there was something about him that just made me not able too stop.

He took his shirt off and slipped mine off as well. We kept making out and he slid his hand up my shirt.

I heard the door open but I knew it wasn't possible.

I knew somebody was standing there for a minute. But I couldn't look, I was terrified.

After a minute I heard somebody slam the door. I got off of Sammy. "I'm sorry, but your a horrible person and i don't really know if you were trying to ruin your best friends life... but you just did." I said and walked out.

"Jack... Jack!" I yell in the hallway. I feel an arm turn me around. He was standing against the wall... just staring. "Jack I am so sorry... Just let me explain please." I hesitate. "Gosh.. " he sighs and walks down the hallway to his door.

"Jack you have to listen to me please just hear me out." I beg. He struggles to get the key into his hotel room door so he turns around and looks into my eyes. "Why." he asked. "What do you mean." I ask. "Why, Vanessa? Why should I listen to you when I clearly walked in on my girlfriend hooking up with my best friend.. and to think... I could trust you! I brought you with me Vanessa because I couldn't stand being away from you and you let me down... but I guess it was all a mistake. " he yelled, finally unlocking his door. I followed him in. "You weren't there for me Jack.. when I needed you the most. I was homesick and I needed to feel at home but you couldn't do that for me because you were too busy for me." I almost yell. "That's not true Vanessa you wouldn't let me in.. you wouldn't let me help you and what does that have to do with this anyways.... you really think that hooking up with Sammy will help you.. he won't even call you back Vanessa." he says. "I don't want him too. That wasn't what filled that whole in my heart Jack. It was Aaron. He came up when you guys were at the pool and talked me me and Jack we kissed and I don't know how it happened but it did and we were going down the elevator and he kissed me on the cheek and Sammy happened to see. He said if I wanted him to keep my secret that I would have to repay him... and that was what he wanted... I'm sorry Jack but I told you it wasn't what you though it was." I explain. I storm out and knock on my door... I forgot my key.
