"It's a dead pool." Scott told sherif showing him the piece of paper with nearly all of our names on it just a few missing out but they were probably in the second half or however many more sheets there were. "A hit list of supernatural creatures. This is only part of it. The rest still has to be decoded."

"Who found this list?" Sheriff questioned looking over the names

"Lydia" I answer

"How?" Sherif asked

"She wrote it." Stiles answered "actually she transcribed it. Without realising it."

"Banshee?" Sheriff asked probably just to confirm or deny his suspicions.

"Banshee." Scott confirmed

"All right, what are these numbers next to the names?" Sheriff wondered out loud

"We're getting to that. First, you need to know that the code was broken with a cypher key."

"Wait. You mean, like a... like a key word?" He asked

"Well it's actually a name" I cut in "...Allison"

I looked over to Scott giving him a sympathetic smile and he sighed leaning up from the desk.

Stiles sighed "her name broke a third of the list. And now we think there's two other cypher keys"

"Which will give us the rest of the names." Sherif figured out and we nodded "so how do we get the cypher keys?"

"Same way we got the code" stiles answered but not looking entirely hopeful that it would work out. "Lydia's been at the lake house all weekend. Trying to find the other two key words. Along with Malia and Kira."

"So there's two other names here of people we don't know and people who aren't dead. The only ones we know being Scott, Lydia and y/n... so are the others all werewolves too?" Sheriff asks

"I don't think so, they could be. But the family that got killed they were all wendigos, Lydia's a banshee I'm some form of kitsune, Scott's a true alpha. They could be anything" I told them

"How do we know that if you find the next cypher key there might be not 13 names but 100?" Sheriff asks with a sigh as he sat down in his chair leaning back.

"There can't be that many, there's a limit." I answered

"We think that once we decide the names," Scott started "the numbers will add up to 117."

"117 what?"

"Million" Stiles answered as he drew a k next to all the ones in the hundreds meaning they were worth any number in the thousands and then adding a m to the ones who were one or two digit numbers meaning we were worth however many million. "One hundred and seventeen million dollars, dad. Stolen from the hale vault. And is being used by someone to finance all these murders."

"You guys have a vault?!" Sherif asked me and I nodded.

"Yeah, basically just full of anything valuable and anything that we think has sentimental value or stuff we use for training like the triskele that Kate tried to steal, therefore someone else taking 117 million dollars worth of bearer bonds" I answered and he nodded still seeming slightly shocked though

"Someone who wants every supernatural in beacon hills dead." Scott sighed

"So the coded list goes out. And somehow these professional assassins get that list. And then they go after the names on the list. They being killers with no mouths, tomohawks, thermo-cut wires that can take your head off." Sherif explained more to himself than to us just so he could clarify everything
