Part 20: we are back

I awoke to the morning sun shining on my skin.
I smiled and my eyes opened.
My smile widened.
It was blank.
I couldn't see!
I stood up.
I laughed.

I blindly walked to the left.
I hit a rock but I ended up with the towel.

It was silent.
I sat.
After about an hour I heard someone running towards me.
"Oh yea... you look like shit" it was that person.
Dabi.
He scooped me up and walked off.
"Your familiar" I told him.
"Good to know" he replied.
"You remind me of my friend...Shoto"
"....how is he?"
"He's good... traumatised but every great hero has trauma"
"That's him..."
We walked in silence.
Eventually we made it to somewhere cold and dark.
Dabi set me down and knocked on a door.
It opened almost instantly.
"Aw no Machi come on in" I heard kurogiri.
He lead me inside.
"Machi! Are you alright?" Tomura rushed up to me.
"Yeah... I'm okay" I said looking up to his voice.
He wrapped me in a hug.
I hugged him back.
Kurogiri came up to me and placed a hand on my shoulder.
"Why don't you get dressed dear?" He told me, handing me my hero outfit.
"You fixed it?" I asked.
"Actually Dabi turns out to be rather good at sewing" Compress informed me.
"...thank you Dabi"
"...sure"
I went into another room and quickly got changed.
I walked back out with Togas guidance and Tomura took my hand.
I felt the light silk of his two finger glove.
"I assume you want to go see your friends?" He asked me.
"Yea... although next time you want to hang out don't attack us please"I laughed.
He laughed too.
"I promise" then kurogiri placed a hand on my shoulder and we were suddenly somewhere new.
"If you keep going straight you will reach the gates of the school, I cannot come with you but Dabi can" kurogiri informed me.
I was suddenly aware that Dabi had come with us.
"Thank you" I said and Dabi placed a hand on my shoulder to guide me.
We had walked into the school and I could hear familiar voices.
"Alright this is where I leave you"
"Thanks Dabi"
"...Call me Touya"
I gave him a hug and walked to the sound of the voices.
I heard someone gasp.
"Machi?!" I heard Uraraka shout.
"MACHI!" Bakugo cried out.
I heard him blast forward.
He wrapped his arms around me and we tumbled to the ground.
We laughed.
"MACHI" I heard several people cry out.
Izuku.
Jiro.
Mineta.
Iida
Shoji.
Shoto.
Kirishima.
They all clashed into me.
They all cheered and cried.
Then I heard a few people.
"Here comes Ayoama with Tokoyami and Mr Aizawa" Kirishima said.
I stood up with the help of Bakugo.
He turned me to Fumikages direction.
I heard Fumi start to walk.
Then it burst into a run.
I held me arms out and he wrapped his arms around me.
We hugged and cried.
"I love you too Fumi" I whispered to him.
Everyone joined the hug.
Except for a few others.
They hung back.
Shota however walked up to us and wrapped me in another hug.
He also cried which surprised a few people.
"Don't ever do that again or else your grounded" he told me.
I chuckled.
"Thanks...dad"
A cold feeling ran through me.
But that cold feeling still managed to feel warm.
I missed my own father.
He hadn't visited in 2 years.
But Shota filled the hole he left.
I cried happy tears.
