31. First Stop

Five weeks in a bus, sick of seein you in the rearview

Been in a new town, got the same issues to work through

I feel myself shoot up to the sound of my alarm and I see Esme shoot up as well, she looks at me and she rubs her eyes. "baby" she whispers and I feel my stomach flip, "it's tour day" she smirks and I nod taking her from her side and bringing her closer to me, "it's tour day" I whisper and she giggles

I stand up out of bed and I walk to my closet, throwing on a black t-shirt and grey sweatpants to lounge in since the bus ride will be very long, I see Esme put on one of my black t-shirts and a pair of her nike shorts, she throws her hair in a bun pulling out some baby hairs and I walk to the bathroom brushing my teeth and getting my last minute toiletries to pack same with Esme

I zip up my suitcase and I bring my to the door, I come back and I grab Esme's and I bring it to the door as well, I feed Ripley and I get all of his stuff together since he's coming with us. I can't not see him for 8 months that's too long, he would forget about me

"Es you ready?" I call out her name and she walks into the living room, we'll need to drive to the hotel down the street from me since that's where the bus will be picking us up, Matthew hired people to keep our cars safe, "yeah I'm ready" she says tired and I nod, I walk to the car and we pull our suitcases throwing them in the trunk and she gets in the passenger seat, I walk back to the house and I grab rip and he's stuff and I walk him out to the car he jumps in the back seat and I get in the drivers, I turn on the car and I pull out of the driveway leaving my house

Ripley doesn't like car rides much so he whines very loudly which makes me laugh but Esme slaps my arm and pouts to rip, "are you okay baby?" she asks him and he whines, she unbuckles while I'm driving and she climbs in the back seat comforting him, "I'm starting to think you like the dog more than me" I say and she smiles, "good thing you finally figured it out" she says and I shake my head keeping my eyes on the road

around ten minutes later we pull up to the hotel and I see the huge ass bus in front of the building and I see Matthew talking to someone in front of it, he eyes me but when he see's Esme his eyes widen for a split second but then they go back to his usual angry face, "Harry, he's gonna ask questions" I hear Esme whisper and I park looking at her, "I promise I'll come up with something" I say trying not to show her that I'm freaking out for her, I just don't want her to have to go through anymore shit

she nods and I see Niall pull up in his suv he steps out and smirks at us, I step out of the car along with Esme and ripley and rip runs to Niall, "hello my good boy rip, haven't seen you in forever, your owners a shit head" he says in a high pitched voice and I see Esme laugh, I open the trunk pulling out our suitcases and she grabs hers from the ground rolling it to Niall, "es you need a nickname" Niall says to her and she shrugs, "what about.....sunflower?" I hear Niall ask and Esme giggles, "sunflower?" she says and he shrugs, "I like it" I put in and they both look at me, "so do I" Niall says and she nods, "sunflower it is then" she smirks and Niall puts his arm around her and I feel a weird feeling in my stomach when I look at them together

we walk to Matthew and he rolls his eyes at us which causes Niall to laugh, "hello Matt, how's your morning been?" Niall taps his shoulder and he shrugs Niall off, "stressful now shut up and leave the bags here and get on the tour bus" he says in his stern voice and we do what he says when I'm about to enter the bus I hear Matthew

"Hanging out with Harry Esme, what would Patrick think of that, be careful you know what happened last time, how are your ribs by the way" he smirks and she looks away, "Asshole, shut the hell up" I snap and his eyes look towards me, "I could fire you right here, I would advise you to shut the hell up harry" he smiles and Esme just shakes her head signaling me to get on the bus, I do and I see Niall and her come up behind me

I look around at the tour bus and I see two leather couches with pillows and blankets on them, I see the kitchen ahead with snacks stacked up, I see theres a second floor where our beds will be, and when I turn around I see a door and I press the button and it opens to the loft area, big couches, tv's, video games, a bathroom. and the whole tour bus is lit up with little fairy lights

I see Esme walk into the loft area and she sits on one of the couches and she pulls one of the blankets to her, I see Niall turn on the video games and he grabs a control, I hear embers voice and Esme's eyes shoot up to behind me, "em" she smirks and Ember runs towards her, "I haven't seen you in like forever" she smirks sarcastically and Esme laughs, I feel Lou tap on my shoulder and I smile at him, he sits down next to Ni and Ni gives him a controller, a couple minutes later Liam and Zayn enter and they cheer when they see all of us

Li sits down near the girls and he talks to them and Zayn sits by me, "how've you been mate?" I hear his voice and I shrug. "fine nothing really new" I say and Zayn scoffs looking over to Esme, "thats new" he moves his head in her direction and I roll my eyes, "none of your business z" I say and he shrugs, "good choice, she seems nice, it's good for you" he says and I nod, "and she's hot as fuck" he shrugs and I snap my eyes towards him and he smirks, "I'll beat the fuck out of you" I whisper and he laughs, "sure h" he says and I see Matthew enter the bus, he looks at all of us but he doesn't say anything he just closes the door to the loft and we sit in silence

I hear everyone let out a breath and Niall looks at all of us, "IT'S TOUR BABY!" I hear Niall yell and we all cheer and with that our bus starts to move and my eyes stare over to Esme, she looks up at me slightly and she bites her lip, but her attention moves away from me when Liam says something and she laughs

she's a good choice
