Thursday was one hell of a busy day. Arriving in Spain, going to the track to talk to Lando and Carlos in the early afternoon and then the hangout with Carlos in the late afternoon. As if one of these things wasn't enough for a day already, they had to be shoved into one day. Somehow.

Luckily the flight from Paris to Barcelona wasn't long and the time from leaving the plane to setting foot in the paddock after dropping off her luggage at the hotel wasn't too long either.

It had been a long time since Sara had been in the motorsport world that frequently.

She had to remind herself to continue walking when she passed Red Bull on her way. She would see Pierre the next day. She didn't have the time for it then.

"Hi, I am here for an interview with-"

"Sara Alice Dubois." Sara groaned. Pierre had seen her and now wanted to know why on earth she had walked past Red Bull without greeting him.

"I am so sorry, I will ask someone later. I need to calm that guy over there down." She smiled at the man she had just wanted to ask about the interview. "Pierre, sweety-"

"You better have a very good explanation for not saying hi!"

"I didn't have time."

"You-" Pierre huffed loudly but he couldn't refrain himself from smiling anymore. "Good to have you here again." He hugged her tightly. "I will let Anthoine know you have safely landed." Sara gasped. She had forgotten to text in their group chat she had safely landed. She had promised Anthoine and had forgotten. "I had the feeling you'd forget it, so I promised to keep an eye out for you. I knew you had to pass Red Bull to get to McLaren."

"Ah, Sara!" From behind her, Carlos came walking up to her and Pierre. "Hi, Pierre." He greeted his fellow driver. "Are you coming? Lando is getting impatient."

"You see, I really did not have time." She winked at Pierre and then turned to Carlos. "Let's go." Together, they walked into the McLaren facility. It was swarming with people in white shirts with small orange details as it was around lunchtime. Carlos lead her up some stairs to a room where Lando was sitting, scrolling through his phone.

"I've got her," Carlos said and Lando looked up. They were the only three in the room. "Where did the ladies go?"

"They went for a cup of tea." Carlos nodded. "Good to see you again. I heard you were going easy on me?" Sara chuckled and her cheeks flushed slightly red.

"As if." Lando and Carlos both frowned.

"But you said so," Carlos argued, but Sara shook her head.

"I never did so. I said that I hadn't said I was going to make it incredibly hard on him, that's not the same as easy." Both men started to puzzle with what it was Sara had actually said. Lando gave up after a couple of seconds, realising he most presumably wasn't going to make sense out of it as he had heard the first part of the conversation second hand from Carlos. "Either way, I think we should start as soon as your press officers return? That way I can actually freshen up before dinner." Carlos grinned.

"Does someone have a date?"

"You don't know?" Lando frowned again and shook his head. "You did tell him I was going to make it hard on him but you didn't tell him we were going out for dinner?"

"Carlos!" Lando exclaimed. "You never told me that!" Carlos casually shrugged his shoulders. He was trying to explain why he hadn't brought Lando up to date with the news when the two press officers walked back in.

"Hi, you must be Sara!" Sara shook both their hands and they started the interview. They discussed the driver's daily life, sense of fashion life as a driver and how it affected them in multiple ways.
