Sara sat in her and Carlos' hotel room, staring at a picture on her phone. It had been so long since the picture was taken.

"Anthoine would be so mad at me," Sara whispered. Anthoine would have killed her for how she had acted towards Juliette. He wouldn't have snapped her neck or anything but he would have killed her from the inside out by the disappointed looks, the reprimanding words. All of it would have killed her but now he wasn't there to do so, she missed it. It was yet another reminder of what she had lost.

"What is up?" Carlos frowned at Sara as he walked up to her. "What did you say?" He looked at the photo and frowned. He recognized it, it was the photo of them playing badminton. Back when the four of them were still friends.

"Is this about the fight with Juliette?"

"And Pierre. It is the fight with Pierre that is bothering me. The fight with Juliette. Well, it is-" Sara shook her head. "Despite hating it, I can handle it. I can't lose Pierre on top of Juliette and Anthoine."

"Then go talk to him." Sara sighed in defeat.

"He is in a meeting with the FIA right now for his relationship with Juliette."

"Then wait for him outside, make sure he is alright. Then talk to him. Apologize. What time does the meeting end?" Sara looked at her watch.

"Now."

"Go." Carlos smile and Sara got to her feet, moving hesitantly towards the door. "Go, make sure you don't lose him as well." Carlos rolled his eyes as she stood with her back towards him. It was not like she was going to lose Pierre, the guy was like a golden retriever, loyal to the bone. He loved Sara and he would do a lot to keep their friendship alive, especially if Sara were to apologize and explain why she did it.

With her heart thumping in her chest, Sara went to Pierre's hotel and waited in the lobby, hoping Pierre was not yet in the hotel and had to pass by her still. She started pacing, too nervous to stand or sit still.

When she looked up for what felt like the millionth time, she saw Pierre and she was happy he was there. He saw her too and walked up to her.

"Pierre!" She said, still unsure of what to say, the entire time she had been preparing what to say but none seemed to add up to what she was actually trying to say and seemed to be the wrong words.

"Sara." Pierre stopped in front of her but where his voice was usually laced with excitement whenever he saw Sara, his voice was neutral and didn't give away any emotions.

"I uh-" Sara took a deep breath. "How did the meeting go?" Pierre huffed as he got the keycard out for his room. Sara remained outside, unsure whether this was an attempt to get away from her or it was an invitation to come in as well.

"Horribly. Come in." Sara stepped in and closed the door. At least he didn't send her away right away.

"Do you want to talk about it?" Pierre shrugged his shoulders and turned back to Sara.

"How are you feeling after-" Pierre scratched his neck. "after the fight with Jules?" Tears immediately started welling in Sara's eyes. She felt horribly guilty for everything she had said. "Hey!" Pierre breached the gap of about two meters between them and pulled her in a hug. "That bad huh?" She shrugged, biting her lips together between her teeth.

"I found this photo in my notebook this morning. I was going to put it in Anthoine's photo album, but I guess I skipped over it in my notebook." She showed it to Pierre as the first tear rolled over her cheek. "It reminds me of the good old days so much." Pierre looked at the four happy faces posing for the photo's, racquets in hand and standing in front of the net of the badminton field.
