When Setsuna, Towa and Moroha refuse to do as the tree of ages wishes it decides to take matters into its own hands and resurrect Bailey who is neither demon nor human to fulfill the pr...
Bailey sat close to the village entrance. Flashes of the past kept her awake and alert. Setsuna walked the perimeter of the village keeping watch. Her eyes landed on Bailey sitting against a tree looking up at th and sky. Setsuna sat next to her and looked up at the sky. "You know you look like your mother." Bailey said softly. "Is that why you called me Rin? Was that her name." Bailey smiled sadly. "Yes that is her name. You have the same hair the same facial features. Of course you have your father's attitude." She said with a sigh. "Your mother was just a child a few years younger than you are now when I first met her and saved her life." Bailey said reminiscing. A smile swept across her face as she closed her eyes thinking of young Rin. Setsuna stared at her before standing to her feet. "You know you really should get some sleep." Bailey said to her. "I dont sleep." Setsuna replied walking away. Towa had woke and was standing near by she was curious about Bailey and felt drawn to her. "Setsuna can not sleep because the dream butterfly has stolen her dreams." Towa explained sitting next to Bailey. "What the hell is a dream butterfly?" Towa sighed. "Its a butterfly that I've been trying to find it to destroy it so that Setsuna can have her dreams and memories back." Bailey nodded. "This place just keeps getting more and more crazy." Towa laughed. "Yes it sure does. I didn't grow up here I was sent to the future and grew up with Papa Sota. He found me when I was really young." Bailey looked at her hearing the familiar name. "Sota? Higurashi?" Bailey asked curiously. "Yes I'm Towa Higurashi." Bailey smiled. "I remember him he was really young when I met him too about eight or nine I think." Towa stared in awe. "Wow so you really did know all our parents!" She said excitedly. "Oh do I have some stories." Bailey said smiling. "Its pretty late you should be getting to sleep." Bailey said looking at Towa. Towa smiled brightly amd waved as she walked away. "Oh she's just like her mother." Bailey said smiling returning her gaze towards the sky. After sitting there for some time Bailey dozed off. She saw nothing but darkness. Pain shot through her head as she heard a woman's laugh drift through the darkness. Spinning around Bailey saw a glimpse of emerald eyes watching her.

"What the hell." Bailey said as the eyes stayed fixed on her. "I found you." The woman's voice filled her head. She stared at the eyes that looked ahead. Bailey smirked "You found me? I didn't realize we were playing a game of hide and seek." Bailey laughed and her eyes opened. "You're playing hide and seek?" Towa questioned looking down at her. Bailey shook her head but those eyes stayed as if frozen in her mind. "I'm sure it's nothing but a weird dream." Bailey said getting to her feet. "Where are you off to?" Bailey asked as Setsuna and Moroha walked by her and Towa. "I have a job to do as a bounty hunter. I'm wanting Towa's and Setsu's assistance." Moroha said pulling Towa toward Kirara. Bailey crossed her arms lifting her eyebrow at the girls. "Dont worry Bailey we will be fine. I'm sure that the demon slayers could use your help here." Bailey rolled her eyes. "Fine. I have something of my own I must track down anyway." Bailey confessed then took off running towards the mountain. "Whoa she is really fast." Towa said looking in the direction Bailey ran. Bailey reaching the mountain caught a scent that was familiar to her and raced towards it. "Nakano!" A man voice rang through the forest. She knew that name it was the name of the wolf queen from the south. The woman that Worick mistakenly thought was her mother. The man slowly descended from the sky his maroon hair swaying elegantly behind him. "You are mistaken. I am not Nakano." Bailey said to him. "I realize that now that I am closer to you." The man said disappointment and disgust in his voice. "The resemblance is remarkable. But to bestow a human with these features is such a waste." He said clicking his tongue. Bailey's eyes hardened at the man's comment. "Excuse me?" Bailey asked. Her eyes glowing gold and catching the man's attention.

"My mistake once again. You are not human at all. What a relief that is." He smiled down at her. "You seem to be full of mystery and it is definitely intoxicating. Would you care to-" he started to say before turning towards the side. "Forgive me I must go. I will hopefully see you again soon." He said disappearing as fast as he appeared. "What the hell" Bailey shook her head and continued on her way up the mountain. Coming up to a small hut she smiled catching the scent once again. As she stepped towards the hut she caught another scent. "Hello there. Can I help you?" A young woman's voice said to her. Bailey turned towards the voice a small smile on her face.

"Well. Look how you have grown." Bailey said smirking at the woman. Suddenly the drape to the hut opened. "Bailey?!" Sango asked half in disbelief and tears in her eyes. "Sango. It has been a long time." She said embracing her. "You're alive! I am so happy to see you." Sango said hugging her back. "Your daughter has grown into a beautiful young lady." Bailey said gesturing towards Gyokuto. "Thank you Bailey. What brings you here?" Sango asked gesturing Bailey to follow her. When Bailey stopped at the threshold Sango looked back.

"Oh forgive me Bailey. You may come in." Bailey smiled and walked through the doorway. "I wasn't expecting to find you of all people I was just in search of someone who could point me in the right direction." Bailey said seriously. "Well what is it that you are in search for?" Sango asked curiously. "More like a who. I need to find the beast king Kirinmaru." Sango took a step back. "Kirinmaru. The beast king that resides in the east." Sango asked worriedly. "Yes. East! Perfect." Bailey said happily. "Go as far east as you can until you hit the sea." Sango said grimly. Bailey nodded and gave Sango another hug before departing to the eastern lands.
