Three Years had passed since Rin's death. Bailey had stayed in the village. When the third year came Sesshomaru had come back to the village. "I have reinstated the palace. Towa and Setsuna are to move there as well." He said to them. Towa and Setsuna nodded in agreement with their father. Bailey sat there with a straight face. Listening to the conversation from outside the hut.

Towa and Setsuna were saying their goodbyes to their family and the people of the village. Bailey had gone to Rin's grave to pay her respects when Sesshomaru's scent caught her nose. "So you're taking Towa and Setsuna?" She asked without turning from Rin's grave. Sesshomaru was taken aback. "Will you not come?" Sesshomaru asked. Bailey scoffed at him. "You would answer a question with another question." Bailey said with a smirk. "Yes I will come. I made a promise to Rin. To protect her children." Bailey said. Sesshomaru nodded. "So am I a governess again?" Bailey asked nudging Sesshomaru's arm. Sesshomaru lifted his brow at her. "Bailey. I want you to come live with me. In our palace. The way it should've been years ago." Sesshomaru said. Tears brimmed Bailey's eyes. Remembering the day of their wedding that never happened Bailey turned to him. "After all this time?" Bailey asked. Sesshomaru pulled Bailey into his arms and kissed her. "Always." He said looking into her eyes. Bailey smiled at him and followed him back to the village. "Finally it took you long enough!" Kagome said happily. As she saw Sesshomaru and Bailey walking hand in hand. Towa and Setsuna looked towards them and Towa smiled happily and Setsuna nodded in approval. "I would've thought he'd come for her sooner." Setsuna whispered to Kagome. Inuyasha and Kagome nodded. "What you mean you knew this would happen the whole time?" Towa asked dumbfounded. Shippo shook his head at Towa. "You take after your uncle." He laughed. Inuyasha balled hit fists. "What's that supposed to mean?!" He asked red faced. Kagome shook her head at Inuyasha and Shippo bickering as they used to many years ago. As Sesshomaru, Bailey, Towa and Setsuna left Bailey took one last glance towards Rin's grave. "We will come back to visit right?" Towa asked looking sad. Bailey nodded and followed after Sesshomaru and Setsuna.
As they came to the gates Bailey could see that they had been repaired. The palace itself was just how it had been years before. "Wow. This is our home?" Towa asked wide eyed. Bailey nodded. "Home at last." She said as she watched Towa and Setsuna enter the palace Bailey stopped. "Bailey. You may enter." Sesshomaru said before Bailey could say anything to remind him. Bailey entered smiling. "Lord Sesshomaru. Lady Bailey. Lady Towa. Lady Setsuna." The servants greeted them as they entered. Bailey nodded to the servants in acknowledgment. Bailey walked straight up the stairs and into the room that had been given to her long ago to find it empty of bed chamber belongings and filled with music instruments. She frowned as she looked around and closed the door. Going to Rin's room she held her breath as she opened the door. Inside was the same except a beautiful painting of Rin hung across from the bed. With a shrine for remembrance underneath it. Bailey smiled softly and closed the door. "What are you doing?" Sesshomaru asked. "I was looking for my room but..." Sesshomaru let out a small chuckle. "You will be sharing a room with me. But until we are wed you my stay in Rin's room if you wish it." Sesshomaru said. Bailey shook her head. "No that wont be necessary. So it's this way right?" Bailey asked pointing down the hall. Sesshomaru nodded and signaled her to follow him. Opening the door for her Sesshomaru watched as Bailey walked inside the room. "I will have Jaken send the invitations out immediately to all the lords and ladies." Bailey scoffed and crosses her arms over her chest. "Do we have to?" Bailey complained and rolled her eyes. "Yes. It is important." He said smirking at her. Bailey nodded. "The seamstress will be here in two days. So that you can have her make you new attire. I will have the ballroom decorated just as last time." Bailey nodded smiling. As the days went by guests arrived for the wedding. Bailey was ready and anxious. Her black veil covered her face and her black dress trailed behind her gracefully.

The wedding was beautiful with white roses and candles everywhere.
Their friends and family were there smiling happily for them as they have waited for this day for years as well. Once the wedding ended Bailey was officially Lady of the western lands. In the garden next to Anita's grave she had a memorial for Rin erected and everyday Bailey would pray at the shrine in Rin's room.
Five months after their wedding Bailey was ill. She was getting sick throwing up every so often that Sesshomaru ordered her to the bed and sent for Kagome and Kaede. After a full examination Kagome and Kaede chuckled. "Well that is unexpected." Kagome said. Bailey lifted her eyebrow at her. "Its just a stomach bug right? He worries too much." Bailey said irritated. "Ye are not sick Lady Bailey." Kaede said sternly. Kagome chuckled more clapping her hands happily. Bailey glared at her. "Then what is going on with with?" Bailey asked. "You will see in about 9 months." Kagome said happily. Bailey's eyes widened at the realization. "I'm pregnant?" Bailey asked in disbelief. Kagome nodded saying congratulations and left the room. Bailey laid there rubbing her stomach without even realize she was doing it. She looked to the door to see Sesshomaru enter.

"Well?" He asked concerned. Bailey smiled at him. "I'll be fine. I'm surprised Kagome didnt tell you." Bailey said laughing a bit. "Tell me what?" Sesshomaru asked confused. Bailey took his hand and pressed it to her stomach. Sesshomaru's eyes widened and he looked at her. "You're with child?" He asked and Bailey smiled nodding her head. As they hugged Bailey had a flash back.
'That witch that severed your sire link to that pest. What was his name, Ah yes Michael has transferred the link to you and I. Also giving you the gift of bearing children again. The way it was meant to be.' Worick's voice boomed in her head as she remembered what he said.
