Protection

The wolves that Klaus and Bailey had faught off to protect Kenna stumbled to their feet. Klaus looked around and took a deep breath. "Oh how I wish you would." He said smirking at them.

The wolves looked towards Bailey who had sped up behind a wolf and buried her fangs into his neck. "Run! Her curse is complete!" One of the female wolves said with her voice full of fear. As they ran for their lives Bailey kept her eyes on Klaus. "Bailey! You need to get ahold of yourself!" Klaus yelled. Bailey rushed him using her weight to make them both tumble to the ground.
Kenna kept screaming at Sesshomaru "Put me down damn it!" She yelled one last time before sending electricity through him. Sesshomaru fell to the ground and Kenna got to her feet and started to run back to Klaus and Bailey. Luna quickly caught up to Kenna grabbing her arm. "What are you doing?! She'll kill you!" Luna yelled at Kenna keeping her grip on Kenna's arm. "No! She's my mom! I have to save her! Now let me go!" Kenna yelled with tears streaming down her face. Luna gritted her teeth. "I'm sorry I cant let you do that." Luna said picking up a rock. Just as she swung it Kenna dodged it and kicked Luna as hard as she could in her stomach. Kenna they ran off in the direction that they had come from. Luna stumbled to her feet gritting her teeth. She walked over and shook Sesshomaru until his eyes shot open. "Quick the girl she went back. You have to save her!" Luna said frantically. Sesshomaru jumped to his feet and sped off in the direction of Bailey's daughter.
Klaus got to his feet and Bailey looked up at him a smirk on her face as she glared at him

"Bailey! Please I cant hurt you!" Klaus pleaded with her as she sped in front of him. Driving her hand into his chest and smiled. "That makes one of us." Bailey said looking into Klaus' eyes. "Dad!" Kenna's voice echoed in their ears. Bailey's hand stopped hearing Kenna and her head shot to the direction that Kenna's voice was coming from. "Say goodbye." She said as she regripped Klaus' heart. Klaus let out a pained scream. His hands shot up and snapped Bailey's neck and her hand released his heart and her body fell to the floor. Klaus breathed out heavily and Kenna ran into his arms. "Dad! Are you ok?" Kenna asked worriedly for her father. "Yes littlest wolf. I'm fine." Sesshomaru and Luna ran into the area and relief washed over them. "What do we do now?" Kenna asked looking down at her mother. Klaus shook his head unsure what to do. "I dont know. Bailey had the chance to rip my heart out but she stopped when she heard you Kenna." Klaus explained. "There's still a chance then!" Kenna said excitedly. "No!" Luna yelled. "This curse isn't like a normal curse. It eats away at the person until there is nothing left! There's no saving her! The curse will manipulate the person's loved ones. Bringing them close with thoughts of hope and destroys them. She is nothing more than Bailey's shell." Luna yelled with her brows furrowed. The wolves that had run away had followed Luna's scent back to the hideaway entrance. "Princess Luna speaks the truth." The biggest man said coming up behind her. The rest of the wolves nodded in agreement with sorrowful looks on their faces. "Why was your mother trying to bring back Michael?!" Klaus growled furiously. Luna shook her head. "Do you know what Michael would do if he were to be resurrected?!" Klaus growled. "Michael is a hunter. He would kill all of you and everyone associated with you!" Klaus explained. "How do you know that?" Luna asked. "Because he is my father and he has hunted me for centuries. After finding out that my mother was unfaithful and that another actually fathered me. He slaughtered my biological father. My biological father was a werewolf much like yourselves. Our existence to him is a disgrace and we are no more than ambitions to him." Klaus said seriously. "This is true Bailey killed him years ago after he tried to kill us all." Sesshomaru said picking up Bailey. "Where are you going with the cursed one?" A male wolf near by asked. "I'm taking my wife with me." Sesshomaru said turning on his heel and walking towards Kaede's village. "Please! Klaus. You need to heed this warning. Bailey is gone even if you think that her daughter's presence reached her. It's not safe for anyone to be near her. She's nothing but a ripper now." Luna said her gaze falling to the ground. "You listen to me princess. You and your mother are the cause of this. Bailey has suffered for years having her daughter ripped away from her right after she gave birth to Kenna and now you have ripped Bailey away from her son just after being born. Bailey has sacrificed herself so many times for her loved ones. You're lucky. If I was the man I was before Bailey gave birth to Kenna you would already be dead. Princess or not. No one harms my family." Klaus said through gritted teeth. Klaus shouldered passed Luna and followed the others back to the village. Luna watched them as they disappeared. "Princess Luna. What do we do now?" One of the men asked. Luna sighed in frustration. "That thing! That monster is no longer my sister. No longer a child of the moon. Her friends and family dont understand this curse. We must take care of this before that monster destroys us all." Luna said emotionless. "But how? How are we supposed to kill a hybrid like her?" Luna looked at him. "Klaus gave us the answer. We need to rip out her heart." Luna said with her eyes glowing gold.
Sesshomaru entered a vacant hut with Bailey still unconscious. "Kenna set up a protection spell around the hut. Only let us in and out." Klaus directed. Kenna nodded and did as her father said. Only spelling it so that they could pass through it. Anyone else would be thrown back away from the hut. Klaus put his hand on Sesshomaru's shoulder. "I will help protect your son." Klaus said and took a seat near Sesshomaru. Sesshomaru nodded "And I will help protect Kenna." Sesshomaru said as Bailey started to stir. Their breath caught in their throats as Bailey's eyes snapped open.
