Y/n pov

It's been a few weeks since I decided to join inuyasha's group to find the rest of the shikon jewel shards me being kagome's twin sister I found out a few weeks ago about the bone eaters well

"Sit boy" kagome said making inuyasha fall to the ground "what did he do this time" I asked "he just went on his own yet again" sango said

"You should know better inuyasha" miroku said I kinda felt bad for inuyasha "damn you guys why are you ridiculing me" he said

"Oh you know what that means that's a relief" shippo said teasing him being kagome's sister I'm much more understanding than her

Later that night

We were camping out and inuyasha was keeping watch I was having a bad dream "no...please stop" I said whimpering

I opened my eyes and saw inuyasha looking at me I sat up immediately "wh...what is it inuyasha" I asked stammering

He raised an eyebrow "what's got you so jumpy I heard you whimpering like a puppy so why were you whimpering" he asked rudely

"It's nothing" I said sweatdropping "it's not just nothing if you were sweating like that" he said holding his nose "you don't have to smell me" I said

"Hey don't make such a big deal about some stupid dream ok" he said was he trying to comfort me "inuyasha" I said he glanced at me "hm?"

  "Thank you" I said he looked at me and closed his eyes while jumping on a tree branch and watching the moon I better head back to sleep "just go to sleep" he said

I smiled I'm glad inuyasha's worried about me I thought as I closed my eyes drifting into a deep sleep I feel so relaxed now

Inuyasha's pov

I had fallen asleep at one point and heard some leaves rustling I opened my eyes and gripped my sword hilt I waited and saw it was only y/n

"Hey why are you up so early" I said annoyed she smiled "I was getting some berries" she said "berries I'd rather eat meat" I said

"Well I'm sure it would go perfectly with some homemade breakfast" she said smiling at me why does her smile look uneasy

My nose twitched why do I smell blood on her "hey" I said jumping down from the tree branch and grabbing her wrist sniffing it

I noticed the bandages on her hands "what's the deal with these injuries" I said "what injuries" she said trying to play dumb

"Don't play dumb I can smell blood from you" I said sternly "I just grazed myself over a thorn bush I'm fine really" she said

My eyes narrowed "fine it doesn't look fine if you look paler than normal" I said her eyes shifted to the ground "it's nothing" she said

I decided not to pressure her further "Whatever" I said the others woke up and we were on the move again she's hiding her pain really well

Y/n pov

Inuyasha hasn't stopped staring at me since this morning "let's go on to the next town" kagome said I nodded staying quiet

I looked back and saw inuyasha glaring holes into the back of my head I already know he hates me and kagome but does he have to make it so obvious I sighed

I feel so dizzy maybe I should've gotten a few more hours of sleep "hey y/n you seem distressed are you ok?" Shippo asked

"Yeah I'm fine" I said with a fake smile he didn't seem to notice my pain and smiled back inuyasha however was not fooled

He kept glaring at me "oh look the next town" I said nervously we all went in I ended up getting stabbed from behind I fell to the ground

The others crowded around me "y/n" inuyasha said I think that's the first time I heard him say my name instead of calling me you

Later that night

I was in a deep sleep I felt my head propped up against something firm I opened my eyes "it's about time you woke up" a familiar voice said

I looked up and saw that it was inuyasha he's surprisingly warm "are you going to rest on my chest all day or are you going to go back to sleep" he said

I put my arms around him "huh... Hey what..." "Shh I'm tired" I said and snuggled up against his chest "your so warm" I said falling back asleep

Inuyasha's pov

I was rather surprised she did that idiot what's wrong with her I put my hand to her head her hair is so soft I moved her bangs away from her eyes

She didn't get any sleep at all she has dark circles under her eyes she said I was warm I gently grabbed one of her hair strands and kissed it softly "idiot don't do stuff like that" I whispered

She smiled softly as if she heard me eyes still closed and snuggled up against my chest I felt my eyes close and hug her tightly

In the morning

I watched her closely "inuyasha why are you glaring at y/n Like that" miroku asked "I'm not glaring at her" I said "I'm observing" I said

"Are you sure you don't have a crush on her" sango said I stopped "what are you guys talking about" I said with my eyes twitching annoyed

"You seem to be more accustomed to y/n than you do the rest of us maybe you like her" shippo said smirking cheekily "you brat" I said

"Sit boy" kagome said I fell to the ground "kagome was that really necessary?" Y/n said "we're going to end up leaving you guys behind come on" kagome said

Y/n pov

I sighed and helped inuyasha up I could see the look of surprise on his face I blushed I may or may not have fallen for the half demon but I don't want him to reject me

Later that night

I wasn't tired yet I looked at the moon and took a walk through the woods "where are you going" I heard a familiar voice say

I jumped in surprise a bit startled "oh inuyasha you scared me" I said sighing "is something wrong" I asked he looked me up and down

"You still haven't recovered you should be resting right now" he said annoyed "I just didn't feel tired I just wanted to get some fresh air" I said

"Not like you could've gotten some fresh air back at camp" he said sarcastically I sweatdrop "I guess I don't fool you one bit huh" I said

"Yeah so why are you acting so strange huh" he said tilting his head while looking at me "guess you could say I'm homesick" I said

He hugged me why I blushed "um... Inuyasha what are you...doing" I asked stammering "you said I was warm right so get some rest already" he said I think I saw a tint of pink on his cheeks

I put my head against his chest his heart was beating rather loudly I giggled "why are you laughing go to sleep moron" he said

"I can hear your heart beat it feels nice" I said with a closed eyed smile I felt something soft on my lips I opened my eyes

I saw inuyasha lock his lips with mine I blushed and closed my eyes his lips are soft my breathing slowed down and I felt him pull away

He smirked "I guess I finally found my answer as to why I've been acting like this" he said I tilted my head in confusion

"Acting like what?" I asked "I have feelings for you" he said I blushed and hug him burying my head into his chest he hugged me tightly

"I like you too inuyasha" I said smiling softly I fell asleep against his chest he chuckled "rest well y/n" he said my puppy dog
