I made my way towards the house where tohru was I had planned a surprise birthday party for kyo and had asked for her help

She opened the door "y/n san your here hurry we only have an hour shigure took kyo and yuki to the store" she said panicking "relax tohru we have plenty of time" I said

Kyo's pov

"Damn rat" I said butting my head against yuki "stupid cat" yuki said "alright let's go home" shigure said "why'd I have to go shopping with rat boy" I yelled

"Kyo, yuki your making a scene" shigure said we both looked away from each other I hate the damn rat so much even being near him pisses me off

We went back home wait a second it's way too quiet the heck is this we all walked inside to hear party poppers go off

"Happy birthday kyo" said tohru wait when did y/n get here I blushed "happy birthday kyo come on sit down" y/n pulled me to the table

"I baked this I hope you like it" she said setting a cake on the table I took a fork and took a bite of the cake I must say it tasted delicious

"So how's it taste" she asked with a closed eyed smile I blushed "good I guess" I said her smile seemed to falter when I said that

"Stupid cat thank her don't just say something like that" the damn rat yuki said "shut up you rat bastard" I screamed

"Kyo, yuki sit down right now" y/n said calmly and firmly she sure is calm when it comes to stuff like this "boy's let's refrain from fighting" y/n said

She's starting to sound like a mother "let's all try and get along on this joyous occasion" y/n said with a closed eyed smile

Truth be told I've kinda been gathering some feelings for y/n but knowing her she probably hasn't noticed yet

Y/n pov

He opened his gift from me and got a new shirt he thanked me and looked away aw he's sooo cute no wonder I fell for him

He disappeared to the roof I followed soon after "hey kyo" I said startling him a bit he was grabbing his heart "don't do that you almost gave me a heart attack" he said

I chuckled "I'm pretty sure your too healthy to get a heart attack" I said "and definitely much too young" I remarked making him scoff

He slicked back his hair with his hand then his bangs fell over his eyes "oh yeah" I said almost forgetting I took out my phone

"I want to take a picture" I said he cringed "just one photo together" I said he sighed "just one and that's it" he said I nodded

He pulled me on his lap making me blush I took the photo and kyo was actually smiling in it "dah you look so adorable kitty" I said pinching his cheeks

His eyes twitched at that nickname "ugh never...call..me...that...ever...again" he said rubbing his temple in annoyance I chuckled

I looked towards the sky with a sad look on my face that didn't go unnoticed by kyo "you ok y/n" he asked "I wish my mom and dad were here" I said

He knows about my past he went and hugged me on purpose for once he didn't turn into a cat though "kyo your still human" I said

He stayed where he was he was near the crook of my neck could feel something soft on my cheek I realized he was kissing my cheek

"Kyo" I said he then seemed to realize what he was doing he then turned a deep Scarlett red "I didn't mean to do that I'm so..."

I cut him off pressing my lips onto his he seemed to relax and kissed me back "my shy kitty" I said making him blush intensely

"Don't call me that" he said "dah ok kyo... does this mean you like me more than a friend" I asked he nodded "yeah I do" he said

"Will you be my girlfriend" he asked I kissed his cheek "yes kyo sohma I would love to be your girlfriend" I said leaning in to kiss him again my shy kitty
