Y/n pov

Detectives they always seem to keep secrets from the people they care about well not my boyfriend shido I force him to pay attention to me when he needs a break

Plus he's been acting strange lately and I don't understand why I pouted waiting for shido outside the door to his office what's taking so long

He finally came out and he saw me he sweatdropped seeing how annoyed I was "what was taking so long" I said annoyed

"It's nothing y/n" he said laughing nervously I have a feeling he's lying to me and I don't like that "shido are you hiding something from me" I said

"Uh I don't know what you mean" he said rubbing the back of his neck nervously "really then why do you look so nervous" I said suspicious of his behavior

"Why aren't you looking me in the eyes" I said glaring at him "..." He sweatdropped "I'll find out one way or another shido" I said

He seemed to panic when I said that is he cheating on me or something why can't he just tell me truthfully he barely goes out with me during the day anymore

Shido's pov

She shouldn't find out please don't let her find out if she found out I don't know how she'd react if she found out I was turned into a vampire

Y/n looked at the ground she's definitely annoyed with me but how am I supposed to make it up to her the sunlight would burn me

She looked a bit disappointed I don't know how I'm going to make it up to her she was walking briskly ahead of me

Y/n pov

I was close to tears I felt shido grab my hand "y/n I want to tell you something after our date tonight" he said really he's going to tell me

We went to a restaurant and sat and ordered something but what I could tell is he didn't eat anything from his plate "are you ok shido" I asked

"Yeah I'm fine just tired is all" he said he wasn't even drinking his wine it feels like I'm the only one being pampered here

It is after midnight and he hasn't even had a drink of water ok I've had enough of this I pulled him into an alleyway "huh y/n" he said

"Ok I've had it what is going on with you why are you acting so strange" I said leaning against his chest while I was crying

He sighed "I...uh this is going to be hard to explain" he said rubbing the back of his neck "try me" I said wiping the tears out of my eyes

"A few days ago I...was turned...into a vampire" he said I looked at him in disbelief "are you serious this is just another one of your excuses" I said

I hit his chest and I ended up cutting myself "ow" I said his breathing became heavy he took my hand and licked it "wah shido" I said

He looked at me I saw his eyes change he pulled me closer "I'm sorry I can't seem to control myself" he said trailing my neck

He bit into my neck well now I know he's telling the truth he stopped biting me and buried his face in my shoulder "I'm sorry y/n" he said

"It's hard to resist I didn't want to hurt you I'm so sorry y/n" he said I pulled him into a hug "thank goodness" I said smiling

"Y/n?" He said confused "I'm just glad you're not cheating on me" I said "huh your actually ok with this" he said surprised

"Well I guess I'll just have to get used to this now" I said as I pulled him into a kiss he kissed back and put his arms around me
