Before the stone world began

Y/n pov

I was with senku and that idiot gorilla was blabbering about finally going to confess to his long time crush yuzuriha "it's stupid" I said

Senku noticed this and chuckled "well isn't that always the answer with taiju" he said I rolled my eyes "I could care less about that gorilla" I said

I may act cold but I actually have a tiny crush on senku but I doubt he's noticed being the mad scientist he is "hey y/n" senku said

I then noticed a green light "where's that light coming from" I said as soon as I said that senku pulled me back and I blacked out

Years later

'Crack' I hear something breaking I felt myself get loose of all the stone I saw the sunlight I covered my eyes "it's so blinding" I said

I sat up and noticed I was completely naked "great where do I get clothes in a jungle" I said looking around and I covered myself with some animal hide

I walked through the jungle and saw smoke in the air is there someone else here besides me I better go check it out I thought

I walked until I saw a small hut "I wonder who built this" I said walking over to it "it's about time you woke up" I heard a familiar voice say only to turn around and see senku I blushed

Senku's pov

Me and taiju were gathering some materials needed to make some wine for the antidote "hurry up you big oaf" I said

"Geez ok you never treated y/n this way" he said "that's because she's smarter than you" I said "that's because you like her" he said

I rolled my eyes in annoyance "whatever you say you big oaf" I said now that I think about it back when we weren't in the stone age

Y/n was a lot nicer to me than all the other's maybe she had a crush on me... Nah there's no way I thought to myself as we headed back

I saw a silhouette next to the hut huh who's that? My eyes narrowed looking closely then I noticed who it was is that y/n

I smirked and walked out of the bushes "it's about time you woke up" I said she turned around and I saw the look of surprise in her eyes

She was also blushing she looked like she was on the verge of tears too she ran over to me and hugged me causing me to fall on my back "ow y/n" I strained

Y/n pov

I was crying some tears fell from my face and landed on senku's face "hey why are you crying" he said he's so clueless

"You idiot" I said hitting his chest lightly "what hey" he said annoyed "you don't get it you never did get it" I said sobbing

"W.w.what" he said "you never noticed even after all this time you idiot" I said as I leaned into his chest crying like a child

He sighed and rubbed my back gently "hey let me up" he said I got off him so he could sit up "I don't know why your so angry but give me time to figure it out" he said petting my head

Two weeks later

I was fast asleep in the hut why because I was tired and I didn't get a wink of sleep last night I turned over and open my eyes to see senku staring at me

It startled me "gah senku...what the hell are you doing" I said blushing he smirked "have a good nap" he said "geez senku" I said

"So y/n I think I finally figured out what you were crying about" he said "oh really" I said doubtful he doesn't know anything

"Your in love with me right" I stood still my eyes widened "seems like I was right 100 percent" he said smirking devilishly at me "You embarrassed y/n" he said in a teasing voice I close my eyes and shake

Senku's pov

I was only teasing her as a joke why is she shaking I stood up and walked over to her "hey y/n what's wr..." I saw tears escape her face

She glanced in my direction "yeah I'm in love with you go ahead and laugh" she said shoving past me I need to tell her

"Wait y/n" I said grabbing her arm "what do you want" she said sorrow in her voice "I'm sorry I'm so slow y/n" I said

"I'm not exactly the romantic type and all but..." I looked into her eyes "with you it's different" I said she looked into my eyes

Y/n pov

"What do you mean different" I said "it's always hard to turn away from you I find it hard to stop thinking about you" he said

He rubbed the back of his neck "I guess my conclusion is I like you back" he said blushing a deep red I blushed "sorry that was awkward wasn't it" he said

"No it wasn't" I said as I smiled at him he smiled back and wiped my tears away "from now on I'll take care of you" he said

"I hope you keep your word" I said leaning my head against his shoulder he chuckled and made me face him he smiled

"I would keep it 100 percent" he said lightly pecking my lips making me blush in return
