That was years ago I'm 16 years old now I have no idea where kyoya is but I wish we could have parted on better terms back then

I finally arrived at metal bey city and I got my satchel and my bey b/n I looked around "seems interesting" I said smirking

I walked through town and some guys cornered me "hm?" I raised an eyebrow "what's all this about then" I asked curiously

"We're face hunters and we're going to take all your points" they said I was laughing like it was a joke "good luck with that" I said darkly

"You don't have a choice" they said I put my satched down "guess not" I said I put my bey into position "3...2...1 let it rip" I said

My b/n moved so fast it knocked all the other beys down instantly they were shocked I yawned in boredom "you guys are boring" I said

"I thought at least one of you could beat me but I guess you guys are no challenge" I said with my hands behind my head

"Just wait until we get our boss into this" they said "yeah right I don't care seeya dweebs I have better things to do than play with you idiots" I said

Kyoya's pov

I was bored there's no challenge here I sighed and thought about my used to be best friend y/n I wonder if she still wears those nerdy glasses

I really do feel guilty that happened we parted on bad terms I saw benkei and the other face hunters "kyoya there's a really strong blader that beat all of us instantly" benkei said

"Really what do they look like" I asked "it's a girl she has h/c, e/c and a scary look" he said I scoffed "ok fine I was bored anyway" I said

"I was begging for a challenge to come guess I got my wish" I said smirking "so do you know where they were headed" I asked

"To the bey park" benkei said "then that's where this mystery person will be" I said as we went on our way to the bey park

Y/n pov

I yawned "this is tiring" I said as I looked at the sky "my neck is stiff" I said as I cracked it loudly sounds like I broke a bone

"Hey we're back" I heard familiar voices say "don't you morons have anything better to do than torture others into boredom" I said lazily

"We brought our boss this time" they said "I've been hearing a lot of things about you" I heard a new voice say I didn't bother looking at him

"Oh brother are you here to waste my time too" I said he scoffed "pretty cocky there aren't you" he said annoyed I sighed

"Go away I'm trying to relax" I said trying to shoo them away with a hand gesture "you'll earn that privilege if you beat me though I doubt you will" he said

I groaned finally looking up "listen here y..." I stopped midsentence and my eyes widened when I finally realized who it was I was talking to

"Why'd you go quiet all of a sudden huh too speechless" he said kyoya I can't believe it's him god damn it why'd he have to grow up attractive

"Now hurry up and battle me" he said looks like his attitude hasn't changed one bit I sighed "geez ok kyoya no need to rush me" I said

He looked a bit unsettled "how the hell do you know my name" he said I bit my lip "annoying as usual let's get on with this already you better be a challenge" I said

"3...2...1 let it rip" we both said and our beys collided against each other creating sparks everywhere "go b/n send it to the skys" I said

"Oh no you don't rock leone stay grounded" he said he hasn't noticed it's me but I'm kinda glad I hadn't noticed that both our beys had stopped spinning

"Looks like it's a tie" he said annoyed I smirked "what you gonna cry about it" I said crossing my arms he growled in frustration "well seeya" I said walking away

Time skip

A lot has happened kyoya still doesn't know it's me but he has been calling me n/n and we always end up in a tie you know in this short amount of time

I ended up falling for him "hey n/n" I heard and saw him "..." I stared at him "don't worry I'm not here for a battle I'm just here to hang out" he said

"So I see" I said leaning over the guard railing near the lake "what's with that look" he said I glanced at him "what look" I asked

"You look kinda red something wrong?" He asked I sighed "you really don't remember me do you" I said looking into the lake

He thought for a moment "nothing seems to be coming to me" he said "do you remember making an 8 year old girl cry" I said

That made his eyes widen "wait hold on how did you....wait you couldn't be..." He said I chuckled and gave him a small smile

"It's about time you figured it out baka kyoya" I said sticking my tongue out at him playfully "but your so different" he said

"People change after being called a crybaby so many times I've hardened myself barely crying anymore" I said smirking

He stayed quiet and pinned me from both sides of the guard rail he gave me an intense look my eyes widened only slightly

"What's this about" I said he leaned his head against my chest "this is ironic I ended up falling for my best friend" he said

I could feel my cheeks heating up "huh" I said "I feel really guilty about that day I couldn't stop thinking about it or you" he said

"Wh...what" I said he looked up at me and leaned in kissing me in the process my eyes widened but closed and kissed him back

He pulled away I could see tears streaming down his face "I guess I'm the crybaby now huh" he said I shook my head

"Your no crybaby kyoya I love you too" I said this made him blush and hugged me tightly in his arms he has changed for better
