Vittoria chuckled as Adelaide went on and on about her new rings she recently made.
"A-And I made some for you too!-" She paused before a blush spread against her cheeks
"Sorry, am I boring you?" She sheepishly questioned as Vittoria shook her head."You could never bore me Ad's." She reassured the red head as her phone started to blow up.
Vittoria rolled her eyes seeing the "Matteo" name on her screen and clicked her ringer off.
"Maybe you should answer it." Adelaide suggested with a small smile.
"Nah, it's probably nothing important anyways." She waved it off, despite the sinking feeling in her chest.
Adelaide hesitantly nodded before returning to their conversation.
"Get down!" A woman yelled gaining their attention to the man with a large gun at the entrance, obviously looking for someone.
"Adelaide Lancaster! Time to die!"
Vincenzo groaned at the sharp pain delivering through his upper arm as he fell back, crimson liquid following.
He slowly opened his eyes finding two of his brothers hovering over him.
"It's just a shoulder shot, it shouldn't be bleeding this much!" Matteo spluttered as he kept pressure on the wound that was seeping with blood.
"Or hurting this much." Vincenzo countered as shifted painfully.
Donovan went to get the bullet out of the bloody wound, only to have his hands smacked away.
"Wha- Hey! No! Get your hands off of me." Vincenzo moved away.
"Dude there's a literal bullet inside of you." He scoffed moving forward again.
"I know that dipshit! Get my sister here." Vincenzo glared at him and moved away again.
"Your stupid sister isn't answering the phone." Matteo persisted as he dialed her number again.
"Hey, I may be bleeding out right now but I can still kick your ass." Vincenzo warned with a pointed finger.
"And where the fuck is Alessandro?!" He asked, desperately wanting an adult (and someone he actually liked) to take care of his wound.
"Work." Matteo answered shortly with nervous eyes.
Vincenzo didn't even have the extra energy to roll his eyes at them still lying, but the energy he did have was already giving out.
"Vin, stay with me." Donovan surged forward patting his cheek.
"Pretty stars." He slurred out pointing to the decal stars on his ceiling.
He remembered when they stayed up for hours arguing over on how they should angle them.
He's glad he listened to her. Cause now he can see them perfectly.
Matteo panicked pacing back and forth trying to get a hold of Vittoria.
Until she finally picked up.
"For the love of- What!" She answered annoyed, her voice wavering with screams booming behind her.
"Vincenzo got shot." He blurted bluntly making Donovan look at him with a unimpressed look.
"What?" She more said than asked as she looked at the man running from the scene.
"Vin-"
"No I heard you, I just needed to make sure of something." She cut him off standing up from her booth.
"Make sure of what?"
"That this was planned." She sniffed looking at the blood splattered on her clothes.
"What was planned? Him getting shot?"
"No. Him and Adelaide getting shot at the same time." Vittoria chocked out touching the bullet graze on her thigh.
"Is he alive?" She asked finally with a slight crack in her voice as she looked down at the bloody body in front of her.
"Yes." Matteo nodded, relived.
"Well that's makes one of them." She scoffed.
