I woke up early the next morning. Around 7:35. I can't sleep too good or long when Im not in a familiar place. I lazily got up and brushed my teeth and brushed my hair back. I went down the steps but stopped when I heard my mom talking to someone. It was a girl. Her voice was soft and very familiar. I turned the corner and seen a girl my age with a straight blonde/brown weave. She was kinda short and thick. She turned her head slightly and I seen her face. I gasped when I seen it was my cousin Tamia(^^^). I ran up behind her and jumped on her back. She screeched as I wrapped my legs around her stomach.

My mom laughed at us and I hopped down. She turned to faced me and we hugged each other tightly.

"Tamia!" I yell. "Chanelle!" She screeched hugging me. Tamia and I are like sisters. Dayvon and Da'kin love her too. But for some reason Chanay doesn't like her that much. But she can't get rid of her since we family. Tamia and I have been as close as ever since birth. We used to spend everyday together. But she moved down here awhile ago, so we never see each other no more. I forgot she lived down here. And my mom made it seem like we gon have to start from the very bottom with our social lives. Not so much for me.

"Oh my god! What are you doing here?" I yell smiling. My mom grabs her coffee and gets a doughnut from the now full cabinets and goes upstairs. "My mama told me yall moved down here yesterday. And I wanted to be the first to welcome my cousins to they new home. Especially my favorite one!"

"Aww." I hug her again. "And I wanted to make sure you come to school lookin fine. You can't claim my family if you look like a bum." She jokes.

"You go to my school?" I ask hopingly. She nods. I screech and drag her up to my room. Her mouth drops as she glances at the parts of the house we run by. Her mouth drops even more as we walk in my room.

"Dang! I knew yo mama was gettin paid. But I ain't know it was like that." She sat on my bed. That's what I said. "I know right!" I laugh.

"Where's yo closet at?" She asks smiling. I nod in the direction of it. She smirks deviously while walking into it. Last night Dayvon and I got most my boxes unpacked. I only have like 6 more to unpack. I sat on my bed and watched her look for my outfit. She roamed my closet and picked out an very outfit similar to hers. Her outfit was a tight white spaghetti strapped t-shirt, with a pink varsity jacket, light blue jeans, pink converse and a hello kitty watch.

The outfit she picked for me was a tight white spaghetti strapped tshirt, light blue varsity jacket, black converse, a batman watch and light blue jeans. Basically the same as her, just different colors. I took the outfit from her and went to take a shower. I washed my hair and body quickly and got out. I dried off and slipped my outfit on. I just let my hair fall into its natural curls. My makeup was natural, and some mascara and eyeliner. Like Tamias. So we matched even more. Tamia just roamed the rest of my closet and the room in my room. I came out and showed Tamia my outfit. She smiled proudly and we did our lil handshake thingy we made when we were 7. Time flew by fast because it was already 8:15. School starts at 9:45.

Tamia and I just caught up for about 20 minutes. "So what's the school like?" I ask her. "You actually gonna like it. It's an art school and I know how much you love to sing and dance. They have all the academics. But we also have stuff like drama, voice, dance, choir, art, photography, computer education, etc. And the teachers.... I love em. Their really fun and energetic. Theyont care what we do. As long as we turn in the assignments. It's a great school. I think you'll like it." She says. I nod. It sounds like I will.

I almost cried when she told me she lived down the street. Not really Iont love the hoe that much. Just kidding this my main. But I could see her house from my window! We glanced at the time and went downstairs. Everyone else was up and ready as well. Everybody got up and hugged Tamia. All except for Chanay. She just sipped her orange juice loudly. Then gave her a careless nod. Rudeness. Everybody ate breakfast and headed off to school. Dayvon drove us. We stopped at Starbucks on the way. The school actually wasn't too far away from My house. About 20 minutes away.
