Hakeem's p.o.v

After I got home yesterday I showered up and went by Chanelles house. She told me it was just a small stomach virus and that it should pass soon. I told her, that I told her so. And we just chilled the rest of the day. But Iont know. This seem like more than a virus to me. Oh well. I ain't a doctor. So I just left it alone. I was playing madden 11 on my Xbox 360, while Chanelle was sound asleep on my chest. It's 11:21 pm. She was knocked. We were at my house just chillin til she fell asleep on me. Literally. I didn't mind tho. I like holdin her like this. But shvt I had to pee.

I paused the game and laid Chanelle down gently on the couch before jogging to the bathroom. I did what I had to do before washing my hands quickly and leaving the bathroom. Chanelle scared the hell out of me. Almost gave me a damn heart attack. She was just sitting at the bar eating what look like a pop tart. In the dark! I switch the light on and looked at her. Her eyes were halfway open and she was looking at the counter. She wasn't blinking or anything. She was just sitting there while eating. I was a bout to ask her what she was doing when all of a sudden she dropped her pop tart and started talking.

"I have to tell Hakeem. But what's he gonna think when he finds out? What's he gonna say? I can't do it, Tamia! I have to hide it from him." She yelled the last couple sentences looking out the window.

Tamia? Where the hell she see Tamia at?!

I walked over to Chanelle slowly and waved my hands in front of her face, slowly. She didn't do anything. She just sat there. I looked at her weirdly. Is she sleep talking? I thought to myself. Before I could do anything else she slammed her hands down on the counter before standing up. Scared the hell outta me.

"You know why I can't tell him that, T. He'll think I'm in this for the wrong thing! You know why I'm in this!" She yelled, her eyes still stuck on the window.

She got out the stool and started to walk away slowly. She sleep walks too?! I followed behind her quietly being sure not to wake her up. I would've woken her up but I need to know what's she talking about. What can't she tell me? And why not? I was hoping she'd keep talking and blab what she's hiding from me. She stopped walking all of a sudden and turned back at the window.

"I'll tell him...... When the time is right." She glared at the window while pointing at before continuing to walk.

God... I am in a relationship with a psychopath!

She walked back over to the couch and sat down. She put her knees to her chest and wrapped her arms around her legs. Then started rocking back and fourth slightly. I stood over her, listening to what she was saying.

"I can't tell him." She kept mumbling to herself. All of a sudden she stopped and looked up at me. I raised my eyebrow at her unknowing if she was awake or not.

"Hakeem? What are you doing?" She rubbed her eyes while yawning and looking up at me. I didn't want to tell her she was sleep talking and walking so I just made up a quick lie.

"Didn't you hear what I said?" I question. She shook her head.

"I said come on. Let's go to bed." I hold my hand out.

"Oh." She responds softly while taking my hand in hers.

I turned the lights off and set the alarm before following her up the stairs. She laid in the bed and I laid behind her. She shifted uncomfortably a couple times before turning over to where we were facing each other and placing her hands on my chest. About ten minutes later she began to snore slightly and quietly. I couldn't sleep tho. I just watched her, suspiciously. My head started to hurt as I thought of everything she could be hiding from me.
