^Chapter 43^

Chanelle's p.o.v

"So where's the kids at?" My mom asks me.

We'd been catching up for the last hour or so. I would've told her I had to leave to go get Justice but Tamia told me not to stress getting Justice and that she'd bring her down here for me. Especially since I was too worn down and have plenty of things to get done by tomorrow. I tried to tell her I'd do it anyway but she insisted she'd bring Justice and grab Jaheem.

"Well Jaheem is at football practice and Tamia is bringing Justice home from the hospital." I say casually.

"What?! Justice is in the hospital?!?! For what?!" She asks panicky.

"Chill out ma. She just had to get stitches cause she fell off Tamias bed the other night. But she's fine now." I state.

She nodded in understating as Deandre came into the room. He had his backpack on his shoulder and keys in hand. I stood up and walked over to him. He smirked down at me as he wrapped his arms around my waist pulling me close to him.

"I'm finna head out so I'll see you later tonight. And tell the kids I love em and I'll see em later." He stated with his head buried in my hair.

"Okay. I'll see you later." I stated with arms around his neck. He kissed my shoulder softly.

"I'm so proud of you.... And I love you." I said as I hugged him tighter.

Deandre and Tiaria are the only ones in their family to go to college and graduate. Their mom went to college but had to drop out because she got pregnant and had to find a way too support the baby. Therefore only Deandre and Tiaria are the first to get through the whole 4-year program. And around this time next week that'll be verified through a degree.

I'm so proud of him!

"Well later on you can show me better than you can tell me." He said gripping my ass cheeks. I laughed as he bit my earlobe slightly.

"Oooh you are so nasty!" I laughed as I bit my fingernail.

"That's what chu like tho, huh?" He says seductively making me squeal slightly.

"AHEM!!!!" A voice called making Deandre and I glance in the direction of where it came. I looked over to see my mother, her eyebrows raised and her arms folded across her chest. I gasped and backed away from Deandre. Damn I forgot she was in here.

"Mama!!!! My bad. I forgot chu was in here." I laugh nervously.

"My fault Ms. Brookes. I forgot you was in here too. I ain't mean no disrespect." Deandre apologizes.

"It's all good.... Ima just be waiting on my 3rd grand baby after all uh that." My moms stated making me hit my brakes.

"Ssscccccuuuuurrrrrr! Uh uh. Jaheem and Justice is all you gettin. I'll be damned if I have another baby. Or at least in this century." I state.

"Mm hmm." My mom stated as she rolled her eyes and went into the kitchen. Deandre laughed before pecking my lips again.

"I gotta go babe. I luh you and Ima see you tonight." He stated before hugging me tightly.

"Okay. And I luh you too." I stated while waving him off. He sent me a wink while biting his lip and looking me up and down, causing me to instantly feel my underwear begin to soak. Damn the slightest things cost the biggest shit with me sometimes.

Ah damn that reminds me. I forgot I got to take my pill.

"Where are you goin?" My mom called after me as she began to follow me up the stairs.
