"What's wrong gurl? Why you ain't been returnin my phone calls and text messages. You been M.I.A these last few weeks. What happened? I did something wrong?" Tamia asks me as I got in the car. I handed my bags to her and she set them on the floor of Dayvons car.

"T, Iont think she in the mood to answer all uh that." Dayvon calls back to her. She threw her hands up in frustration while mumbling 'Fine.'

"You good?" Dayvon asks looking at me. I shake my head and placed it on the window.

"What happened? Did you tell Hakeem?" Tamia asks leaning forward so her head was between the seats. I nod slowly.

"And what he say?" Dayvon asks. I shut my eyes letting the tears finally fall out. It took a couple minutes for me to process my words.

"Please don't say I told you so." I finally say barely above a whisper letting more and more tears fall. Tamia gasped lowly in shock and Dayvon shook his head.

"Aww nelle.... Come'ere." Tamia says pulling my arm and pulling me in the backseat with her. I crawled in the back and sat beside her. She placed her arm around me and I laid my head in her lap as I cried my eyes out.

"That low down ass nigga!" Dayvon exclaimed slamming his hands in the steering wheel. I flinched slightly.

"Stay here yall. Ima go catch a case. Keep the car running." He said reaching his hand in the back of his shirt.

"Dayvon don't." I say softly while wiping my eyes and sitting up to where he could look at me. He just ignored me so I put my head back in Tamias lap. He's not gonna listen anyway. And I kinda don't want him too. But at the same time I do.

"Nah that mufuckka gon make my sister cry. And bitch out on his responsibilities? Fuck that!!! I'm finna bust a cap in that ass!" He exclaimed taking the safety off and cocking the gun. Tamia left one of her hands on my lower back and put the other on Dayvons shoulder.

"D, she right! He ain't worth it. Let's just go so I can take her home. Please?" Tamia pleaded. Dayvon looked back at her then down at me. I heard him sigh loudly before I felt the car start to move.

I sniffed and wiped my face. I laid my head on Tamias chest and she caressed my head. I just pouted while I repeated everything that just went down with me and Hakeem in my mind. I can't believe I let my guard down!! He was lying to me the whole time and I didn't even realize it. I thought about everything he told me in our relationship. How it was all a lie. How I was so stupid to believe him. I could feel my blood boil as I thought back on every low down lie that bastard said to me.... And I believed him. My small fists began to clench and my breathing quickened.

"God, I can't believe I was so stupid!!!" I yelled before punching the back of the empty passenger seat.

"Chanelle stop! You're not stupid, babe." Tamia argued while holding my arms down. I sighed as more tears flowed down my cheek like a waterfall. I placed my head on her shoulder this time and waited for the ride to be over.

Dayvon pulled up to the house soon enough. I got out with Tamias help and shut the door. Dayvon took my bags inside before going to his room. Tamia walked me in the house with her arm around me. We went up to my room in silence. I push my door opened, waked inside and plopped on my bed. Tamia sat beside me after shutting and locking my door. We just laid on the bed for a few minutes in silence. The only noise in the room was my soft sniffs and sobs.

"Do you wanna talk about it?" Tamia asks, finally breaking the silence. I sigh as I sit up.

"I don't know what to say." I shrug. "I mean.... I thought everything was going great with us. You know? Especially after all the shit we went through. And these two weeks I been at the vacation house with him everything was fine. Except the first day there. It was insane!" I think back on the first day I was at the vacation home. I wipe my eyes to stop the crying.
