"Those could kill you"

Cassiopeia shifted her position to clearly hear the voice behind her. Her eyes widened as she saw a familiar figure approaching her. She reverted to her emotionless blank look, which she frequently adopts to conceal her pain. He reminded her of the boy who had been bothering her since she was in her first year. The man had the same hazel eyes and unruly black hair in the back, but his nose was significantly longer. As her godfather took a seat next to her, a wave of hatred flooded over her.

"There are a lot of things that could kill me in life," Cassiopeia replied, taking another breath from her cigarette.

"That doesn't mean you inflict those dangerous things purposefully," James countered, taking the cigarette from her mouth and throwing it off the edge.

"Why are you here?"

"Well, when I saw one of my students run out of their lesson, I wanted to make sure you don't do anything stupid," James replied, earning a scoff from his goddaughter.

"One. Because I am a black, I was born to do dumb things. Two. There are several flaws in that statement, but I'll leave it because I'm such a kind person. And three, why are you actually at Hogwarts? "Cassiopeia said with a steely glare.

"You're a smart one,"

"I know I am, but flattery won't work to dodge the question," Cassiopeia responded.

"And since your such a smart girl, you know the exact reason why I'm here,"

Cassiopeia remained silent, looking at the overcast day;  dark, cold, and gloomy. Exactly how she felt on the inside. She continued to lose her sense of awareness, as she watched the grey clouds hover over her home. James got the hint that the conversation was over and proceed to walk away, but he stopped. After 5 minutes of silence, she turned around to Cassiopeia.

"He regrets it you know"

This gained her attention.

"Who?"

"Come on, we stated your smart" he replied, though he added with the look on her face. "Sirius".

"It's been 8 bloody years, he couldn't have knocked on the door to say sorry. Even though he is at this school, he hasn't said a single word to me. Besides, that moron should regret his selfish actions." she said coldly.

"My brother has gone through terrible experiences, you two are so alike. You are a junior version of him, don't you want your dad in your life?" James retaliated, this really ticked her off.

"Oh me a mini version of him?" mocked Cassiopeia, "I'm highly aware we look the same, act the same, the same anger issues, the same trauma, but do you know the difference between him and I?" she questioned, walking up to him.
