my father was chatting it up with Lisette over at the counter, while lee and I were spying on them from across the store since he said he wanted to get to know Lisette without me pushing him out of the store

Mrs. lee: well, at least your dad likes your girlfriend
Josiah: uh- s-shes not my girlfriend
Mrs. lee: might as well be

she looked at me

Mrs. lee: what, you don't think I see you guys walk in the other direction of your school everyday after work?
Josiah: stalker
Mrs. lee: where do you guys go, huh? you two better be waiting till marriage!
Josiah: girl what the f- okay first of all! I-
Mrs. lee: watch your tone

I sighed

Josiah: Lisette and I are just friends.. and even if we WERE dating I wouldn't tell you our business!
Mrs. lee: well, at least you're not a kiss and tell
Josiah: im done with you, and im done my dad

I gave her the mop and stomped over to my dad and lisette

Mrs. lee: uh- boy you better get your ass back here!! I WILL fire you!
Josiah: for real?
Mrs. lee: m- y-yes! for real!
Josiah: thats crazy

I saw my dad showing Lisette something on his phone

Kairi: and thats him when he was 4! he would always get naked when he got mad.. just a little tip for later-
lisette: sir-

she covered her mouth and tried not to laugh. I felt my face burn up and I used my telekinesis on him and threw him out of the store

josiah: you're so embarrassing!
kairi: calm down son
lisette: yeah calm down, i'm not tryna see you naked
josiah: I hate ALL of you so much

my dad picked himself up and dusted his butt off

kairi: lisette! you should come over for dinner today!
lisette: oh um.. are you sure that would be okay?
josiah: nope! not okay-

my dad put his hand over my mouth and smiled at her

kairi: of course it's okay! my lovely wife and I will be waiting for you!

she laughed at me getting strangled

kairi: very well then, i'll be on my way, i love you bubs

he planted a fat kiss on my forehead and patted my head

kairi: thank you for putting up with my son, mrs. lee
mrs. lee: well of course! he's like a son to me!

she hugged me but was secretly, purposely suffocating me. my dad got in his car and drove away, and as soon as he drove off, mrs. lee smacked my head and walked away to the back room

lisette: I guess i'm coming over for dinner tonight
josiah: I guess it's a date

she looked at me for a second and smiled, but turned away

lisette: I guess it is

I smiled and went back to mop

mrs. lee: bye sweetie! have a safe walk back!
josiah: bye lee!
mrs. lee: get outta my store already
