Quinn ended up dating Bryson behind her piano teachers back. Gio and lisette are somehow together, though it doesn't even seem like she likes him all that much. we're still friends we just.. don't talk that often. we got different classes this year, the only class we got together was english but we sit across the room from each other. Lisette and her siblings ended up getting adopted by Mrs. Lee after little iris and alessandro dragged themselves to 7/11 from being brutally beaten by matthew. bastard is serving a life sentence in prison without the possibility of parol. as for their mother, she's also serving time in jail for possession of narcotics. iris is 8 now, and alessandro is 11. I see them outside of the store sometimes running around. they usually hang out at the surf shop with me though, and yes, I still work here. also, this happened —

Josiah: mom! dad!

they came out of the kitchen

Eli: hey baby! you should've told me you were coming!
Josiah: sorry..

I was fidgeting with my jacket, I was nervous

Kairi: what's wrong?
Josiah: ah.. it's just.. i've been meaning to tell you guys something.. for the past year..
Eli: is everything okay?
Josiah: yeah.. yeah..

they both looked at each other and we went to go sit down in the living room. my heart was pounding, I wasn't sure I was gonna go through with it

Josiah: truth is... you see..

I looked at them and my heart stopped for a second, I felt like crying, and then the tears came

she came over to hug me

Kairi: josiah.. if there's something wrong, we can get through it

my mom stiffened a bit and I looked up at both of them. they stared at me for a good few seconds which only made me panic. and then —

Kairi: DEADASS?!

they looked so happy

they both came over to hug me while I was still crying

so when did I figure this out? a while ago to be honest, back in middle school I found myself thinking about boys.. in a non friendly manner. I thought I was just confused since I was attracted to girls as well, so I brushed it off. then in highschool, some of the guys in my classes started to seem oddly attractive to me. not just in a "yeah that guy is good looking" but in a "if he wanted to, i'd let him hit" I hid it from everyone because I was scared they might be.. you know, homophobic. though when it came to telling kehlani, it didn't seem all that scary for some reason.. she made me feel accepted
