y'all i got added to a gc with a lakers fan 😕 what a walking L tbh

the sun was getting covered with the clouds. as the street became darker the vibrant people lit up the city with their joy. there were fireworks going off and kehlani and I were sitting a little further apart from quinn and bryson. we were lying on the grass looking up at the colorful booms of light being shot up into the sky.

Josiah: if it's a boy, I say we name him Aiden
Kehlani: Enrique!
Josiah: you're better at coming up with names
Kehlani: okay, what if it's a girl
Josiah: Aaliyah
Kehlani: you just want the "yuh" to live on, don't you?
Josiah: yuh

she laughed and grabbed my hand, raising it up as she played with my fingers

Josiah: how does it feel to know you're the last girl im ever gonna be with?
Kehlani: the same way it feels to know you're the last guy im ever gonna be with

I smiled at her and she blushed

Josiah: I think I won

she smiled and grabbed the flag, putting it over us and kissing me ever so slowly underneath it.

Josiah: let's not pull a quinn

she laughed and laid back down next to me

Kehlani: honeymoon, where would we go
Josiah: oh definitely bali
Kehlani: I was just thinking that!
Josiah: great minds think alike
Kehlani: do we have any more water?
Josiah: umm no
Kehlani: im gonna go get some water bottles, i'll be right back

she walked away and then i overheard people starting to cheer. i sat up to see everyone smiling and running over to a building. we looked up to see bills falling from the top of a building. everyone went to go pick them up and one of them fell on my lap. I picked it up only to see slurs written on the bills. along with "welcome to hell, faggots" my eyes widened as the realization hit me of what was going on. I ran over to everyone near the building

Josiah: EVERYONE NEEDS TO GET AWAY FROM HERE!

no one could hear me over the cheers and music, I panicked and looked over at kehlani who had just bought the water bottles.

Josiah: PLEASE! EVERYONE!

I got in front of the crowd and quickly built an ice wall between them and the building. only it was too late for me. I felt an overwhelming pain in my back.

Chris: if I can't have kehlani, no one can.

he was drilling his way through my spine while the rest of his buddies were trying to stab the rest of the people. yelling slurs and threats at them all. I couldn't speak, all I could do was feel the drilling pain that was now halfway through my stomach. I looked down at my stomach to see something pointy coming out of my skin, and that's when his drill had completely gone through my back, and out of my stomach. he finally took it out and pushed me on the ground. the rest of the police had finally gotten there but chris and his little group had run away.

Quinn: JOSIAH! JOSIAH!

quinn sat on the ground with me as bryson called the paramedics to come over, though they were all busy taking care of the rest of the people who had gotten injured. I looked over at kehlani who dropped the bottles and started running over to me but they didn't let her get through

Kehlani: JOSIAH! PLEA- PLEASE LET ME GO TO HIM!

I felt weak, I didn't have strength in me to speak
