A scream followed by another shout
Glass shattering on the floor
Doors shutting loudly
I covered my ears with my hands
Desperately clenching my hair
I prayed for my ears to be deaf like my blind eyes
Couldn't hold it in any longer
I started running towards who knows what
Glass, stones, needles, fire
What did I not stepped on
But it didn't stop me
I needed something
A light or even a small drop of water
To quench my thirst
Even a little warmth
To end this endless cold
A scream followed by another shout
Glass shattering on the floor
Doors shutting loudly
I covered my ears with my hands
Desperately clenching my hair
I prayed for my ears to be deaf like my blind eyes
No matter how much I ran
The voices haunted me like a nightmare
Stumbling in the dark
I didn't stop running
The only energy left in me
Was the small will to get away
Thump!
Smashing into something I fell down
This time unable to move forward
There stood an invisible wall
A faint laughter tickled my ears
Even with covered eyes, I could sense a bright light
The blindfold that I couldn't take off before no matter what
Became loose, as my hand reached out
My fingers pulled it down as I opened my eyes to a dream
Vast lush green fields
A girl wearing white clothes laughed brightly
Standing under a huge tree
I recognised the girl as me
She looked like an angel
A fairy spreading light wherever it stepped
Moving my hand to reach that dream
I woke up
Looking down to a tranquil sea
Standing at the corner of a cliff
I turned around to the darkness that called me
A scream followed by another shout
Glass shattering on the floor
Doors shutting loudly
I covered my ears with my hands
Desperately clenching my hair
I prayed for my ears to be deaf like my blind eyes
But my eyes weren't covered anymore
My tired soul cried
Following that voice, I closed my eyes once again
The little control I had on my body, I let it go
Like a feather, I fell deep into the sea
For the first time, light fell on me
My hand reached out to it
As I kept drowning deeper and deeper
Into the dark sea
