Dancing in the rain
With my umbrella on the ground
I twirl and skip
Splashing water here and there
Soaked from top to the bottom
I smile under this beautiful weather
Sunny days, with no wind
I longed to see the clouds fill the sky
Every day, every night
I wanted for the seasons to change
Waking up to the sound of the rain
Heart beat excitedly along it's rhythm
Running outside without a care
I loved to play in the rain
Water that poured all over
Felt so fun to dance in the rain
Oh how I love this weather
Wishing it would appear every day
I played obliviously with the rain
One night the black clouds appeared
Darkness coloured the sky
Looking forward to seeing the rain
I was met with thunder and lightning
Every sound made me flinch
Why is this so scary?
Even though the rain was falling
But right now I wished it would stop
With every thunder, i feel my heart beat stop
Frozen yet shaking
I desperately wish for this weather to change
How many days will it go on?
I look forward to the day it will end
I still love the rain
But I'm not too fond of the lightning that follows
Rain rain come again
But please leave the thunder behind
Because I want to dance in the rain
With my umbrella on the ground
I want to twirl and skip
