Countless nights, countless days
I've lived through many moments I hold dear
Laughing and joking
The golden times that I cherish
When I close my eyes to recall
Im greeted with blankness
Trying my best to remember
I wonder what day is today
Time that once felt like rushing
Now I wonder if it even exists
Stuck in this timeless loop
I think about what I was going to think
My mouth opened to speak
With words that got disappeared in the moment
What was I going to say?
Walking from one room to another
I wonder what I am doing here
Picking up my pen to write
I stare at the empty lines
Blinking my eyes
As if in one of these blinks
My memory will appear in front of me like a flash
Heard you talking about something
At that time it felt interesting
Now I don't even know what it was about
They call me a goldfish
With a short term memory
A person who lost their brain
Doesn't remember their history
That's what they say to me
When I close my eyes to recall
