When the world goes dark
Lights go out for an hour
You could hear the dogs bark
As the wind blows fast
Hey, do you still remember?
The time when we lit the candles
6:30 in the evening
After finishing eating
Taking out our bicycles
Riding across the courtyard
Lighting up the candles
Making scary noises
Pretending to be ghosts
Our laughters roamed the empty lanes
Content with teasing
Playing cards,
losing and winning
Saying no more cheating
Let's just light the darkness away
With our giggles and laughters
Let's make the neighbourhood awake
With our screams and chatters
Let's just shine our way
Without our candles
The time when we felt happy
The time it felt like we were a family
The time where we thought
This is what it feels to be alive
Or was it just me?

Okay so this is like based on my personal story. A few years ago, around 6-7 pm, there would be power outrage in our neighbourhood due to some reason. It stayed like this for a month, I think.
During that time, I had a lot of fun. I played a lot with my siblings, which we don't normally do since we are all busy with our own things. But that month was truly fun. For some reason, we were all free during that hour so we would either play cards, board games, or go bicycling.
