Exodus left me with his secretary since he will be meeting his investor. 'Yong secretary niya rin ang naghatid sa akin sa kaniyang condo unit at pinagdala ko ng iilang gamit namin.

"Ma'am, may gusto po ba kayong ipabili o kainin? I can get it for you, Ma'am." Lalaki 'yong secretary ni Exodus at mukhang bago palang. I think he was a bit younger than me although, matangkad siya sa akin.

"No, huwag na. Should you be back in the office? Kailangan ka roon. I can do it from here and thank you."

"Bilin sa akin ni Mr. Felisarta na samahan po kayo rito ngayon."

I rolled my eyes. Tumawa ako nang mahina bago tumayo. "I'm just going to arrange our things so you can go now. Baka marami ka pang gawain doon. I'll tell Exodus that I let you go. Aalis din naman ako maya-maya."

Wala siyang nagawa kung hindi ang umalis. I've given him some tip for his hard work and I told him to accept it kasi hindi ko tinatanggap ang ibinabalik sa akin. He seems nice though. Hindi ko lang alam kung takot ba sa akin o ano.

I started arranging my things in Exodus' room. Kapag doon naman ako sa kabilang kwarto ay siguradong ipapalipat niya rin ako sa kaniya. Hahaba pa ang usapan kapag umalma ako.

I texted Ayana that I'll be visiting her in their house. Buti na lang at nandoon siya at hindi pumasok sa opisina.

"Pupunta ako kina Ayana ngayon," bungad ko kay Exodus nang sagutin niya ang tawag ko.

"Bring my car with you. Nasa iyo ang susi, diba?"

I looked at the keys on the coffee table. Doon pala nilagay ng secretary ni Exodus iyon.

"Yeah, nandito. Anong oras ka matatapos diyan?"

"Three o'clock, maybe. Doon ka kakain ng lunch?"

"Yup." Kinuha ko na ang aking bag sa couch pati na rin ang susi sa coffee table. I started turning off the lights while I listened to Exodus' side comment on the meeting.

Sorry naman, istorbo muna ako.

"Sorry about that. Ingat, Honey. I'll call you later." He was the one who ended the call like he's in a hurry. Hindi na ako nagtaka. I just had to call him to say that I'll be going outside. Mas mabilis kapag tawag dahil kapag text lang iyon ay baka hindi niya agad makita.

I drove Exodus' car to Landon's subdivision. Huminto ako sa harap ng bahay nina Landon at nag-door bell.

"Muriel!" Si Ayana at patalon akong niyakap. I laughed because of it.

"Miss mo talaga ako?" I asked her sheepishly.

"Of course! Wala akong makausap nang matino dito. I don't want to call you during the day kasi alam kong may trabaho ka. And I know how you work, palaging walang dapat istorbo."

"Been a bit busy, actually. Did you receive the pasalubong from Mom? 'Di ako nakatawag nang bumalik na ulit sila rito."

"Yeah! They're lovely."

Pumasok kami sa bahay nila. Landon and Ayana owned a two-storey modern house. Balak sana ni Ayana na ako ang magdisenyo ng bahay nila but I refused because I'm still a beginner at my craft back then. Two years bago sila ikasal ay naplano na ni Landon sa bahay nila. Landon had asked my opinion but I told him that he should probably find a better engineer for their house.

I'm actually a bit sentimental when he remembered me and asked for it. Ako lang mismo ang tumanggi at baka mabigo ko sila roon. I want the best for the both of them so I referred them to a senior engineer.
