40.Deep Dark

Sid- how's she Dr. Ahana? And how's my baby?

Abhi:Jai- baby

They both squealed together in amusement.

Vaish- does Siddharth know about her pregnancy?

Vaish murmured under her breathe.

Jai- is she pregnant?

Dr. Ahana thought that these questions should be answered by the family so she decided to answer Sid's question.

Dr.- her condition is worsening and I don't think we will be able to save both of them and specially the child as due to the fall, the baby's head got injured and also Avneet's abdomen got hurted badly

Roshni sighed in happiness after listening to the doctor's words but she maintained a fake tensed expression on her face.

While Sid's found himself in a dark world, he felt like nothing is around him except darkness. Tears started falling from his eyes.

Abhi- what is happening here, will anyone answer me ?

AD- Abhi calm down and first let the doctor speak..

Dr.- Mr. Nigam we want you to fill the form and you will have to sign on the approval that if anything happens to your baby or your wife then you can't blame the hospital

Pal- what do you mean?

Dr.- I mean so many families starts blaming the hospital and doctors for the consequences and also they harm the hospital's management so.. this is our policy

AD- so who have to sign on it ?

Dr.- better if Mr. Nigam I mean Mr. Siddharth Nigam sign it.... and please do it fast we don't have much time... we have to start the procedure

Then a nurse came with the form and passed a pen to Sid. He took the pen with his shaky hands. A lots of things was running inside his mind. The fear of losing his baby.. the fear of losing his love...

He finally signed the forms and Dr. Ahana went back inside the operation room after giving inside to the nurse

Jai- now would you like to explain Mr. Siddharth Nigam that what have you done with my sister

That time only Reem came there with Jaivaish's father and aunt.

Sid- how did she fell?

He muttered in an inaudible voice. His mind wasn't focusing on anyone's questions. He was standing there like a person without soul.

Jai grabbed his collar and again asked the same thing in a cold and threatening voice.

Jai- spill the beans SIDDHARTH

AM wanted to stop Jai but she didn't as she also wanted to know the truth. Abhi turned his face to another side and clenched his fingers tightly to suppress his anger.

Rim- what is happening here Ashi?

Ashi- di we don't know what actually happened but we were having breakfast when we heard a scream from Bhai's room and when we reached there, we found Avu bhabhi on the ground groaning in pain

Rim- WHAT? but she was in foreign na then how she reached in Nigam Mansion ?

Ashi- and do you know that she pregnant ?

Rim- WHAT?

Again a shock... the whole family was getting shocks upon shocks in just a day.

Ashi- the doctor said that her condition is not good....

Vaish was standing there while trying to connect the dots as she had received few messages from Avneet in last few month but she never told her that she is with Sid.

Abhi- if anything happened to Avu then remember Sid I'll not leave you

Rosh pov
Nice, fight... more you will fight, more Siddharth will be distant from you and that time I will provide him shoulder to took out his sorrow and then I will be his family and his world also

After an hour
The door of the operation theatre opened and Dr. Ahana came out. Sid looked at her and she hanged her haed low.

Sid- what happened doctor?

Dr.- we somehow managed to save Mrs. Nigam but...

Sid- but what ?

His heart escaped a beat and his hopes was piercing with every passing second.

Dr.- the baby can't survive due to those injuries and also there was still a month left for the full development of the baby's body that's why baby was also weak.... it's a miscarriage

Sid fell on his kness and Dr. Ahana's words were ringing in his ears, which was like daggers for him which was stabbing him continuously.

The other's eyes also filled with tears while Roshni was literally dancing from inside and was planning for a party for her achievement.

Vaish- and how's Avu ?

Dr.- she is unconscious now and her body is also very weak.... we need to check on her reports thoroughly and then only I can tell you about further.

Then she went away from there.

Jai- just because of you Siddharth Nigam... my nephew or niece died.

Rosh- but he didn't did anything... as when we heard Avneet's scream, Sid was with us

Rim- you don't need to interfere

Rosh- but I was saying what is true

Abhi- then would you like to give explanation in behalf of your Sid that what was Avu doing in his room and how she came there ?

Rosh- I also don't know that

She said while making a hurt and sad face to represent that she is very much hurt because Sid hid the truth from her but still she is supporting him.

Rosh then went towards Sid and sat beside him. She put her hands on his hands and said in a fake concerted voice

Rosh- I know Sid that you hid this from me that Avneet is with you and she is pregnant but still I believe on you and don't worry I will always support you even if the whole world will stand against you

Sid- thankyou

He said in a slow voice. He felt guilty to hide this from Roshni but still she supporting him a lot. But the more matters for him was that he lost his baby... the last thing which connected him to Avneet. He lost everything today... his world turned upside down from beautiful dreams of him and his baby to deep dark.
