1974

Corinne heard a knock at the door and quickly frowned before walking down the stairs to open the door, who was it? It's been years since anyone came and years since anyone should come. She opened the door to face this unfamiliar man, he had brown hair and his eyes were so mesmerizing to look at, Corinne found herself staring at him for awhile. His ruggedly handsome features and his physique, he looked pretty good. She then blinked and covered her mouth before slowly sighing. "Hi, um- the school's closed," she stammered.

"Not here for the school," the man answered, Corinne stared at him curiously, "I'm here to see the professor," she frowned and tried to look away but she couldn't. She then looked at the ground and sighed, "Uh, there is no professor here," she lied, "It's just me," she muttered. The man stared at her and she quickly frowned, "Listen, he's not here, trust me." she said finally. "He doesn't want to see anyone," Corinne quickly went to close the door but the man pushed it open, she frowned.

He was stronger than she expected, "Who are you?" she asked before lifting the stray books on the ground, he stared at her curiously and quickly sighed. "My name's Logan," he said. Corinne dropped the books and frowned, "Logan," she whispered, "I'm Corinne," she went to shake his hand and he nodded. "Is there a reason you came?" she asked curiously before walking towards the kitchen, he followed her. "I came to see the professor," Logan muttered, "I don't have that much time so if you could show me where-"

"He's in his room," Corinne answered, "Logan, why are you here?" she asked again before he went to leave the kitchen. She blocked him by using a forcefield, Logan looked back at her impressed, "I've never met you before," he muttered. Corinne frowned and stared at him curiously, "Well of course you haven't, we just met," she said confused. Logan blinked and shook his head before walking towards her, "No, no, I mean I've never seen you in the future," he said quickly, "You remind me of Rogue though, white hair and-"

Corinne blinked, "What do you mean?" she asked, "The future? Are you from the future?" Logan stared at her and nodded slowly. "I'm not really, just my conscious," he muttered, "So I need your help, I need you to help me convince Charles and Hank to break Erik out of prison," Logan said quickly. Corinne stared at him in shock, break Erik out of prison? "Are you serious?" she asked confused, "Logan, there's a reason Erik's in prison," she suddenly heard the phone ringing and she quickly ran towards it. "Don't you dare do anything Logan," she muttered.

She then watched as Logan walked away, she rolled her eyes before picking up the phone. "Stupid, so stupid," she whispered under her breath. "Hi! Charles Xavier household, how can I help you?" Corinne said in her best office lady voice. She couldn't help but laugh a little, "Hi," a voice said, "Uh, is Corinne Dane there?" the man asked. Corinne blinked and looked away before frowning, no one was supposed to know she was here. Who else would've- "No, no she isn't at the moment, do you have a message you want delivered?" Corinne asked quickly.

"Oh, alright, that's okay. Can you just tell her to call back? This number exactly. She's really important to me," Corinne frowned and nodded before looking at Logan's direction, he was now fighting Hank? She groaned in annoyance, "Alright, do you have a name or anything so I could remember?" Corinne asked quickly, the man didn't answer for awhile and Corinne sighed as she walked towards Logan, "Logan will you stop!" she shouted angrily, "Okay, so name?" Corinne then asked softly into the phone. "I'd rather tell her myself, just make sure she calls back okay? I need to know if she's okay," the man answered.

Corinne blinked surprised before shaking her head slowly, "Listen, it's me, I'm Corinne. I'm fine, and whoever you are. I don't care what you want, I don't want to know who you are. Just-," she started quickly. "Look, I have to go..." she stammered, "I'm sorry, good bye." Corinne dropped the phone back inside the kitchen before racing towards Hank and Logan, she jumped off the side of the wall and grabbed onto Hank's arms. He growled and Corinne gave him a certain look, "You don't wanna hurt me Hank," she warned before sighing, she then looked up from the chandelier to see Charles.

She dropped onto the ground and looked at Logan who gave her a curious look, she frowned and walked towards Charles. "You-uh- good morning?" Corinne offered quickly, Charles gave her an angry look and she looked away ashamed. She sat on the top of the stairs and leaned against the railings, Corinne heard them talking and she couldn't help but try to listen to something else, she didn't want to get yelled at.

Charles stared at her angrily as he walked towards her, "What did I say about bringing visitors?" he asked, Corinne blinked and lowered her head ashamed. "You don't understand Charles, Logan's-" Charles hit her mouth quickly, making her flinch. What was that? Hank stared at her apologetically.  "I was sent here for you." Logan said sternly. "I can't leave,"

"Well, tell whoever it was sent you that I'm busy." Charles muttered angrily before walking away, Corinne frowned and placed her hand on her face, she then looked at Logan who sighed. "That's gonna be a little tricky because the person who sent me was you." Logan said. Charles stared at him confused, "What?" he asked curiously. Corinne quickly looked at the ground and nodded, it all made sense now, why Logan came here but how? And why?

She then shook her head and walked back into the kitchen, "I don't know why but he does seem like a good person, there must be a reason he's here." she muttered confused before grabbing an apple. Corinne stared at the apple and made it float in the air before she slowly cut it with her ability, "Logan, his name is Logan. Where is he from?" she whispered, "The future, yeah but why is he here? What does he want to-" Corinne started.

"Corinne?" a voice said from outside the kitchen. Corinne looked up from the ground and looked back at Logan who nodded, "Come on, we're going to break Erik out of prison," Logan said quickly. Corinne stared at him in disbelief before laughing, "Good luck with that," she muttered before rolling her eyes. She then realized he was serious, "Oh god no," she said quickly, "There's no way we're doing that," she muttered. Logan sighed and walked towards her before grabbing onto her hands, "I need you to help me," Logan said slowly, "Okay?" he whispered.

Logan gave her a certain look and she frowned before shaking her head, "Are you at least going to tell me why?" she asked curiously. Corinne grabbed her sweater and quickly tied her hair into a ponytail before following Logan out of the kitchen, "I'll tell you all about it sweetheart, don't worry about it," Logan muttered. Corinne scoffed and laughed before rolling her eyes, seriously, who was this guy?
