Corinne sighed and laid in Alex's arms as they watched the sunset, "It's been so long since we went on a date," she whispered softly before placing her forehead on his. They had a very quiet picnic dinner and if she had to be honest, it was pretty great. They had wine and pasta, fancy and no one was going to bother them since it was Corinne's birthday. She had gotten a very nice necklace from Alex and she didn't have to go to the dance anymore, courtesy of Charles of course.

Alex laughed and sighed before pulling even closer, "You know at this point you're going to suffocate me and I'm going to die in your arms," Corinne teased. Alex stared at her softly and he leaned in and kissed her softly, "I just want- I just want to keep you safe," he whispered gently. Corinne couldn't help but smile lightly, she kissed Alex softly and laughed. "I love you Alex," she mumbled.

Alex hummed in agreement and wrapped his arm around her waist, "You're so beautiful," he muttered softly. Corinne stared at him and smiled before poking his cheek gently, "Every time I see you, I think to myself and I wonder, what did I do to deserve you?" Alex mumbled before laying his head on Corinne's shoulder, he then kissed Corinne's neck softly making her shiver with pleasure. Corinne couldn't help but kiss Alex's palm softly, he laughed quietly, "You're perfect," he whispered. Corinne smiled and closed her eyes before leaning on him, "I'm so lucky to have you," Alex muttered.

"Alex," Corinne stammered slowly before pulling away and staring at him, his face was red and Corinne sighed and kissed his forehead lightly, Alex hummed curiously and Corinne laughed, "You're acting different, everything okay?" she asked curiously. Alex stared at her and slowly shook his head, Corinne sighed and wrapped her arms around him as he leaned on her making them both fall down, "Alex," she muttered slowly, "Aww," she frowned. Alex looked up and hovered over her before kissing her softly, Corinne kissed back hard and brought her hands to his neck.

"Rinne," he whispered softly, Corinne noticed he looked extremely tired and she stared at Alex for a while before nodding, "Sleepy Alex wants his sleep doesn't he?" Corinne teased making her voice sound kiddish. Alex blinked and grabbed onto the side of her face, "No, no I can't sleep, I'm not allowed to until..." he trailed off. Corinne stared at him confused and sighed before placing her arms underneath his, "You're so adorable," she whispered, Alex immediately opened his eyes and Corinne smiled. He stood up and Corinne stood up after using her ability to clean up.

Alex grabbed onto her hand and dragged her back inside, he pulled her close into a kiss and Corinne laughed excitedly as he grabbed onto both her hands and started swaying. "Best dancer ever," she whispered before he laughed and twirled her around. Alex grabbed onto Corinne's waist and Corinne wrapped her arms around his shoulders, "Oh I love you," Alex mumbled softly, "Happy birthday my love," he whispered. Corinne smiled and leaned her head on his chest, Alex wrapped his arms around her and rested his chin on her shoulder, Corinne looked up and caught his gaze, "Are you still tired?" she asked softly, "We can go to bed now if you want," she teased.

"Not yet," Alex yawned before dragging her down the hallway towards the dance area, Corinne frowned and he grabbed both sides of her face before kissing her softly, Corinne smiled and he hummed quietly. "I love you," he muttered. Corinne then got dragged into an empty classroom, she looked around confused before seeing Scott sitting at a desk tiredly, "Oh! Happy birthday Corinne," he said before standing up. Scott smiled and quickly took a small box from the ground, he walked towards Alex and sighed, "Man you owe me 20 bucks," he said before patting Alex's shoulder. Alex grabbed the box and looked at Corinne, he grabbed her hands and made her hold the box, "Happy birthday!" he grinned.

Corinne took the box and opened it to see a small white kitten, it had different color eyes and Corinne let out a small laugh as she carried it carefully, "Oh you really went to get a cat that matched me?" she asked before staring at the kitten. The kitten mewled and Alex grinned before petting it's head lightly, "What do you want to name her?" he whispered gently. Corinne looked back at Alex and smiled before sighing, "Evie," Corinne muttered before the kitten nuzzled her head on Corinne's cheek. "Thank you Alex," she whispered, "I love you so much," she said before kissing him softly.

Alex sighed and opened his mouth to say something before the door opened and Erik walked inside hand and hand with Sage. Corinne raised her eyebrows and quickly looked at Alex who rolled his eyes, Erik stared at Corinne before nodding, "Happy birthday Burst," he said quickly. Corinne nodded and held onto Evie tightly before Alex sighed, "Alright, um- it was good to see you," he stammered before grabbing onto Corinne's hand and walking away. Corinne glanced at Erik and smirked before sticking out her tongue, "Have fun Erik," she teased before following Alex out of the room.

"Give me," Alex said before reaching his hands out, Corinne stared at him and laughed before giving him Evie. He grinned and held onto the kitten, "So adorable," he muttered, "I love you Rinne," he whispered. Corinne nodded and she leaned in and kissed Alex passionately, he kissed back hard and Corinne then pulled away, "Save it for later," she teased before grabbing Evie from him. She raced up the stairs and Alex ran after her, they reached their room and she laughed excitedly as he tackled her onto the bed.

Corinne's eyes widened before she closed the door, "I love you Alex Summers," she whispered as he laid next to her, Alex laughed and pulled her close before kissing her forehead lightly. "I love you too Rinne," he said softly. Corinne smiled and wrapped her arms around him, their foreheads touched and Alex stared at her, his eyes filled with love and affection, "Thank you for choosing me," he whispered. Corinne couldn't help but laugh before embracing him, she nodded and closed her eyes, "Always," she answered softly.
