"Jesse!" Alex yelled as she ran down the stairs and into the kitchen. Ten months have passed as Alex was slightly taller with a more curvier figure. Alex was still the shortest member of the party however, being at least three inches shorter than Will. Her hair was longer and more wavier and tied into a messy ponytail as she had a pair of mom jeans with a black cropped top and one of Jesse's checkered shirts.

"What's up?" Jesse asked as Alex ran to him. Jesse had found himself a girlfriend and they have been together since the end of January. Her name was Isabelle Hawthorne and Alex adore her. She was perfect for Jesse and was like a second mother to Alex. Isabelle was a tall woman, only a few years younger than Jonathon with soft blonde air and hazel eyes.

"Have you got quarters I can have please?" she asked as Isabella smiled.

"Is this for the arcade?" she asked. Alex nodded as Isabella smiled and grabbed her purse. "Are you trying to beat the boys?"

"Maybe," Alex said beaming. Isabella smiled and handed Alex a small pouch of quarters.

"There's about fifty quarters in there," Isabella said as Alex beamed and wrapped her arms around her.

"Thank you!" Alex said hugging her. "You're amazing!" She ran up the stairs to her bedroom and grabbed her backpack. She quickly grabbed her walkie-talkie and her quarters, put them in her bag and then grabbed her converse and shoved them on. "See you later!" Alex yelled running out of the house and towards her bike Mike gave her for Christmas. The plan was that Alex was going to Mike's before they meet Dustin and Lucas.

Alex got off her bike and knocked on the Wheeler's font door.

"Hello Alex dear," Mrs. Wheeler said, pulling the girl into a hug, "Mike's in the basement."

"Thank you," Alex said as she hurried down into the basement.

"Finally!"

Alex looked up and smiled at her boyfriend. He had gotten taller and matured slightly. He had grown out of his baby face and was much taller than Alex now. The top of the blonde's head only reached his nose now. While the two had accepted their feelings for each other, they were not officially dating, much to Dustin, Lucas and Will's displeasure.

"Shut up," she said as she got to the bottom step and smiled at Mike. "Are you nearly ready?" she asked as Mike smiled.

"I've been waiting for your slow ass," he said as she smiled. She looked over at Eleven's fort and smiled sadly. Alex asked Mike if he could keep it up and naturally, he agreed.

"It's been nearly a year," she said as Mike watched Alex walk over to the den and sit in it. "When is she coming back?"

"I don't know," he said as he bent down. Alex smiled sadly as she held his hand. She grabbed his walkie-talkie, let her hands have the familiar red energy ball appear and flicked it at the walkie. There was only static as Alex sighed.

"Mike, do you copy?" came Dustin's voice from Mike's walkie-talkie. "Alex and Mike, do you copy?"

"Yeah," Mike said, "yeah, we copy."

"What are you doing on this channel?" Dustin asked.

"Nothing," Alex said as Mike smiled sadly at the blonde.

"Lucas and I have six bucks total," Dustin said as Alex smiled. "What's your haul?"

"I've got like twenty five bucks," she said smiling.
