It was the day that the Byers were moving out of Hawkins. Alex was dressed in a blue and white summer dress that went just above her knees. Her hair was curly and left down as she had a pair of white trainers on, matching the dress perfectly.

"Turn around, look at what you see." Max and Lucas were singing the song Dustin and his girlfriend Suzie sang. They had sung it so much over the past three months, just to annoy Dustin. "In her face, the mirror of your dreams. Rhymes that keep their secrets, will unfold behind the clouds." The two of them were sitting opposite Dustin, each surrounded by boxes as they helped the Byers move. Alex was leaning against the doorframe, a sad smile on her face. Three days ago was Isabella's funeral and the blonde missed her terribly.

"Wait, did we get that verse right?" Max asked, teasing Dustin, "it's unfold behind the clouds?" Alex smiled sadly as she walked towards Joyce's room where she was helping the woman pack. The blonde looked around and saw Eleven was still there.

"Hey," Alex said as Eleven turned around and smiled sadly.

"Hi," the brunette said as Alex smiled. Alex looked up and saw there was still a teddy bear on the top shelf. The two girls looked at each other and they both tried to go on their tiptoes and reach the bear. When neither of them could reach them, Alex pursed her lips. She was about four inches shorter then the brunette so they both looked at each other. Ever since the day Billy died, Alex had stopped using her powers. She was afraid something would happen as it seemed to be that way now.

Eleven held out her hand and tried to use her powers. The teddy bear didn't move an inch, so Eleven put down her hand.

"They'll come back." The two girls looked behind them and saw Mike walking towards them. "I know they will. And one day you'll be able to use yours again Alex."

"I don't know," the blonde said quietly as Mike reached up and grabbed the teddy bear with ease.

"Thanks," Eleven said as Mike handed her the teddy.

"Okay," Alex said, standing opposite Eleven. "You packed your walkie, right?"

"Yes," Eleven said as Alex nodded.

"Good," she said, "because you know that I'm gonna steal Cerebro from Dustin and call you so much, you're going to get sick of me and you'll have to take out the batteries." All three of them chuckled as Alex smiled sadly.

"Did you talk to your mom and Jesse?" Eleven asked the two, "about Thanksgiving?"

"Yeah," Mike said nodding.

"I got the okay," Alex said, "I'll be there, I promise. And then right, I was thinking that maybe you could come up here for Christmas." She began talking quickly as Mike and Eleven stared at her amused, "and Will, too of course I'm going to miss him so much as well. And you can come before or after Christmas, or whatever Mrs. Byers wants. But I was thinking you could come up like Christmas Eve and you and Max can have a sleepover with me and then Christmas Day everyone can come over and it would be super fun and amazing and just the best Christmas ever, because we'd all have cool new presents to play with and we'd all be together and it's a good two months without any of you here so. . . ."

"Sister," Eleven said as Alex fell quiet. "I'll be here." Alex smiled as she nodded. Alex looked at Mike before back at Eleven. "I'll be outside," she said, giving Alex a look. The blonde nodded and watched as Eleven walked out of the room. The blonde followed, but when she got to the door, she turned around to Mike, her hands in her pocket.
