Teyana rinsed her face. After giving herself a facial, she returned to her room just in time to receive Lori's call.
"I can't sleep," Lori said.
"And what do you want me to do about it?"
"Tey..."
Teyana laughed. "It's a real question."
"I want to see you."
"We can Facetime for a 'lil bit."
Lori sucked her teeth. "Why are you being an ass?"
Teyana widened her eyes defensively. "Lori, babe, it's almost 2 AM. You gotta be up early."
"Don't remind me."
Teyana chuckled, smiling. "You wanna see me that bad?"
Lori nodded. "Yeah, I'm on my way."
"Na-uh, I don't think so. Nope! Not at this hour alone...it ain't no emergency."
"Tey, I'm not a baby."
"Tuh. I'll be there in 15. You better not fall asleep."
