Friends to Family (Marvel Cast x Cast Member OC)

"Oh, you guys didn't have to," Katja told them as they placed the small box in front of her, wrapped in fun, blue paper.

"It's your birthday, kid. You're gonna get a present. Now open it," Robert encouraged and she gave a small smile before ripping the wrapping off and opening the box, finding a small slip of paper inside. She picked it up, unfolding it and reading, her eyes widening.

"I think she likes it," Evans laughed.

"Oh my gosh," she looked back up at them. "Really?"

"Really," Scarlett nodded.

"One season of lessons," Hemsworth said after.

"I can't... Guys, I can't accept this. It's way too expensive. I-"

"Stop," Mark hushed her. "It's something you wanted, so we all chipped in. "

"Everything's paid for and we're not taking it back," Jeremy told her.

She laughed, a large smile growing on her face. "Thank you! Thank you so much!" She hugged each of them.

"We know how much you wanted this," Evans told her. "Now, all you have to do is wave to us when you're getting your gold medal," he said, making them all laugh.

"I will," she smiled.

It was the final recital and Katja could see the Avengers cast sitting in their seats, looking through the programs that the rink had made. The lights went down and Katja took a deep breath, closing her eyes before sliding onto the ice. The lights came back on and she smiled, ignoring the crowd around her, letting the music move her, following the steps she had memorized, feeling more free than she ever had before. 

The music stopped and she returned back to the real world, the sounds of the cheers filling her ears. She gave a bow before turning where she knew Scarlett, Evans, Hemsworth, Jeremy, Mark, and Robert were cheering the loudest for her. She smiled at them and waved. Waved to her family. It may be different, but it was better than she imagined as a little girl in foster care. She got to live her dreams; acting, skating, and being part of something special. She had found her home.

I hope this is what you were looking for, @hi_that_me. I know it's been a long time since I've posted and I'm really sorry. Life has been kinda crazy lately, but I'm done with school for the summer. So I have a new plan. In addition to another book that will be coming out, all my previously non regular update books like this one will be updated every other week. This way, I can hopefully get more content out to you guys and keep up with the requests. I promise I am working on them still, just slowly!
