"Elysian, would you like to accompany me to the library?" I smile at Dis warmly "I'd love to. Thorin is stuck in council meetings all morning." she beams "He hates them really but they are necessary." we walk towards the library admiring the newly built corridors "Everything looks wonderful." she nods "It is almost like nothing happened. Dale also looks incredible, I am glad Thorin came around to the right way of thinking." I laugh "You should be careful how you speak about your king." she snorts out a laugh "He is my brother I can speak about him how I wish."

We enter the library and she grins "Speaking of siblings. When can I expect to call you my sister?" I blush tucking a stray strand of hair behind my ear deciding to stay silent. She laughs "Oh come on. It is obvious that you will end up together, you are soulmates after all." I nod slightly picking up a book that looks interesting "I have been alive a long time Dis and do not want to rush into anything. But if Thorin did propose then I have no doubt I would say yes." she grins sitting opposite me "I'm sure my boys would be thrilled to hear you say so."

I nod slightly relaxing into my seat "Dis did you ever get the feeling that the other council members don't like me?" she looks up "What do you mean?" I sigh "Some of them act very distant around me, I don't think they like the fact that Thorin is not courting a dwarf." she shrugs "I shouldn't worry about them." I nod slightly "I know but I would hate to give Thorin a bad name, he has worked so hard to get here and been through so much. I just don't want to hold him back." with surprising speed she stands taking my hands in hers "You listen to me Elysian Theron. My brother loves you with all his heart and no stuffy old lords are going to keep you apart."

Smiling softly I squeeze her hands "Thank you." she nods sitting back down and picking up her book "You and my brother are meant to be together and you shouldn't let anything come in between that." the door slams shut though I hadn't even noticed it had been opened "Meant to be? Well that's something." An elderly dwarf who I recognize from the royal council stalks over to where we are sitting "Lady Dis." he bows his head to her before turning to me "I am here as a representative of the royal council of King Thorin. I wish to speak with you in private."

Dis frowns "What ever you say to her I can here as well." the nods "Of course Lady Dis." he sits between the two of us "It has come to our attention that you are not the best option for our king. He needs to marry someone with a strategical advantage, Erabor needs a Queen who offers future allies and strengthens our kingdom." Dis raises an eyebrow snorting "Do you not know who she is?" the councilman turns his head "A brave warrior and a distraction to our king and your brother." Dis laughs turning to me "Elysian is not a distraction. She is a princess of her realm and the eldest daughter of King Maven and Queen Elinor. I suggest you show her some respect before I go tell Thorin how you've been treating his lady."

He looks very uncomfortable but clears his throat "You truly believe those rumors. She has been roaming middle earth for years using weapons and killing orcs, that is not very Queenly." Dis scowls "So you would rather have a pretty young woman to sit there and do nothing than a warrior Queen who can protect her kingdom?" I shift around uncomfortable "Dis." she turns smiling "Yes?" I give her a small warning glare and the council man stands "Well I have never felt more insulted, good day." he stalks out the room and Dis settles back into her chair "That went well." I laugh "They truly don't believe who I am?" she sighs and stands "Well we should fix that, come on." I stand "Where exactly are you going?" she grins "To send a letter to your brothers."
