Elysian P/O/V:

It has been raining heavily for two days now and Azog and his orcs have caught up with us. I stand next to Gandalf waiting anxiously for Bilbo to return from scouting. He skids to a halt in front of us gasping "There is something else out there." Gandalf's face goes grave "What form did it take?" Bilbo looks panicked "Looked like a big black bear." I smile and Gandalf nods "There is a house near here, the man who lives there. He will either help. Or he will kill us." the dwarves looked shocked but Thorin nod scowling slightly "What other choice do we have?" Gandalf nods "Follow me." he starts running through the rocks and into a forest before coming to a large meadow a house visible in the distance.

We race across the meadow the sound of wargs growling growing louder. The doors heave the huge door open and we all run inside slamming the door shut before the great bear can get inside. Dwalin scowls  "What was that?" I smile "That was our host, Beorn. he is a shapeshifter, the bear is unpredictable however the man can be reasoned with. He's not fond of dwarves so you better all behave and be respectful." Gandalf nods "I suggest you all get a good night sleep."

Everyone gets comfortable on the hay piled on the floor and soon the barn is full of snoring dwarves. I sit down leaning against the wall and closing my eyes meditating for several hours. As the sun begins to rise I stand and walk into the kitchen where the table is already set and Beorn is sitting scowling at the stable. "Good morning." Beorn smiles "Elysian it has been two long my dear." I smile and bow my head slightly "It is good to see you again." he nods "Why is my stable full of dwarves?"

I smile "You must have seen the orcs chasing us." he nods "Why?" I smile "One of the dwarves is valuable to Azog." he sighs and the dwarves and Gandalf begin to wake up joining us at the table. Beorn stars pouring milk into their tankards which the dwarves except graciously before starting to eat. Thorin walks over and leans against the far wall not joining everyone else at the table. The last to rise is Bilbo who stares at Beorn in awe as he sits at the table. Once Beorn has placed the empty milk jug down he turns to Thorin glaring at him slightly. "Tell me, why does Azog the defiler hunting you?"

Thorin looks shocked and glares back at him "You know of Azog?" Beorn nods and explains how he enslaved him and many others, also how Azog killed most of his family. Bilbo leans forward obviously curious "There are others like you?" Beorn face is hard to read but he replies "Once there were many." Bilbo nods looking interested "And now?" Beorn stares blankly at him "Now there is only one." Gandalf and Beorn begin to talk about what we need to do to get to the mountain on time. When Beorn offers his help all the dwarves smile brightly and Thorin nods thanking him.

We all pack away our things and the fresh supplies that Beorn has given us. I walk over to him as the dwarves start saddling their pony's and smile "Thank you for your help." he nods "You have helped me so much my friend it is only fair I return the favor." I smile "Stay safe Beorn." he nods "You as well." I wave slightly and mount one of the horses that Beorn has lent Gandalf and myself. We start riding as fast as the horses will carry us. The sun has just reached midday when we reach the borders of Mirkwood forest. I dismount and stand next to Gandalf and analyse his face "You are not coming with us?" he shakes his head "I need to check if I am right about something." I nod "I will keep an eye on the dwarves and Bilbo." he nods "Stay safe." I nod "You too."

Gandalf rides away and we let the horses return to their master. I go first walking next to Thorin the other dwarves follow and we continue deeper into the wood. Thorin turns to me "Do you know your way?" I shake my head "I am afraid it has been a long time since I trekked this path, I will be of little help here." he nods and we continue on. The dwarves start acting weird like they are intoxicated and I watch carefully as they start to wander away from the path "Thorin," he nods and I point at the others "They're all moving off the path." he nods and doesn't seem to be listening. I sigh muttering "Brilliant." under my breath as I turn trying to keep an eye on all of them.

I lose track of half of them and Bilbo has disappeared up a tree. I turn again and scowl all the dwarves have now completely disappeared and I can hear spiders moving around in the trees.  I run towards them and find the dwarves all fighting spiders. I help taking my bow from my back shooting any I can see. I watch as Kili is dragged of by one of the spiders by the leg so chase after him bow raised, More spiders appear and so do several elven soldiers. When the last spider is dead I grin "Taurial!" she smiles and we hug "It's been too long." Kili looks speechless and I roll my eyes "Kili the others are over there." he nods still staring at Taurial as she grabs his arm and drags him over to the others.

I follow and smile at a familiar blond head "Legolas?" he turns and smiles "Elysian is that really you?" I nod and smile handing him my bow and swords "Good to see you again." he smiles taking my weapons of me "You know you can keep these." I shrug "I think the dwarves would complain." he laughs and starts leading the dwarves and myself towards Mirkwood.
