a few days later it was the day before timothee had to leave. both were upset but they were trying to make the best of their time. they decided to pull an all-nighter so they could spend every last second together. they drove up to their ice cream place, they drove around the city, visited kayas friends, whist they were out timothee had the bright idea to trade their jackets as a joke so the did.
"here take my jacket and i'll take yours."
they then traded their jackets, timothees being way to big for kaya and kayas being way to small for timothee
"oh- oh my god. you look like a- a clown" she tried to say throughout her laughs he then took off the jacket as he was laughing and began to carry it. he looked over at kaya and thought his jacket looked great on her and he truly wanted her to keep it
"keep the jacket. it looks great on you." he said, she looked over at him and went to take off the jacket "no no no. i can't keep it, it's yours" she replied, she didn't want to keep it especially since it was his. timothee stopped and turned to her, and help her shoulders "ky i'm being serious. it's yours. it looks better on you then it ever has on me" they continued to walk. "your wrong" kaya said quietly.
timothee looked over at her as she was smiling "what?" he muttered back. "your wrong.. it looks great on both of us. are you sure you want me to have it?" she spoke up. "ky. it's yours" he stated back to her
it was getting towards the night, they decided to go night swimming, kaya then helped timothee packed up his stuff, in the middle of them packing kaya started to get choked up. timothee looked at her with a sympathetic look and went to hug the girl. he wrapped his arms around her whilst she sobbed.
"i just don't want you to leave" she muttered. timothee missed her on the head and whispered back to her "hey ky. it will be fine. i'll be back before you know it. and you know i'll only be one call away" kaya pulled away and nodded, she then helped him finish pack, and they went to her room and began to listen to music. timothee chose the song as he explained to kaya why he liked the song so much even if it was a bit corny so he chose "one call away" by charlie puth.
"now this. it what i meant by i'm only one call away. and trust me, if anything is wrong i will be there to save the day" kaya looked up at him and went and hugged him. they then layer on her bed, which kaya then fell asleep. yet timothee couldn't sleep. he sat there for a while trying to fall asleep but he couldn't. he didn't want to leave ky but he knew he had to. it upset him to no end. he then was just about to fall asleep. when a notification popped up on his phone

timothee was rather confused. he wanted to ignore it, but he didn't want to come across rude. so he just replied with "hey" and fell asleep. a few hours later kaya woke up. when she moved timothees phone turned on by a notification. which she then read and what she saw left her shocked and confused

kaya didn't know what to do. she read the time and it was 8:00 am, and she decided to wake timothee up, she wanted to confront timothee but she decided to stay quiet. she didn't want to intervene on something she knew nothing about. they could just be friends. she didn't want to loose him by asking so she kept quiet so she could keep him.
when they left the house to leave for the airport, timothee noticed kaya was off. he decided to ignore it for about 10 minutes, she then realized he realized she was off so she became her perky self again. but truly she was faking it. she knew millie was landing in la at 10 and timothee was leaving at 9. they got i the airport and she began to cry. she hated crying infront of people but she couldn't control it. she hugged him. it was a longer than usual hug speaking that he was leaving for a while. when they let fo she spoke up
"god i'm such an idiot" she said as she wiped her tears. timothee grabbed her face "your not an idiot. and if you are going to disagree with me then your my idiot and i love you" he then kissed her. "i love you too" she said back and watched him disappear into the grates of the plane. she then decided to wait in the airport for an hour. all she could think of was the dm on timothees phone this morning. she couldn't wait for millie to get there.
about 30 minutes later, ky was bored out of her mind waiting. until she heard a very familiar british accent right next to her
"guess who's back"
kaya looked up, and she immediately jumped into the british girls arms "you have no idea how much i fucking missed you mills" kaya hugged millie tighter. "the feeling is so mutual" when they pulled back ky got a serious look on her face
"we need to talk" kaya stated with a bit of sadness in her tone of voice
"what what's the matter?" mills said very worringly
"it's about timothee..."
