'I know that voice!' you immediately turned to see Aether who was covered in sweat and panting "Aether!" you got up and hugged him tightly, he hugged back "why are you here? I thought mom and dad didn't want you to go on a journey?" he asked
You could see that he was worried and confused by just looking at his face "Mom and dad want me to find you guys since you've been missing for years-" "come with me!" he interrupted as he drags you away from Kaeya.
"Hey!" "I'll get back at you later Kaeya!" you said as Aether pulled you out from Mondstadt and stopped at the bridge "Umm, Aether?" "What did you mean by years?.." he asked "Didn't you know that you've been missing for so long now?" I asked "I know that time outside our world flows differently but has it been so long that mom and dad had to send you to find us" he said
"Aether, where is Lumine?" you asked, his expression quickly changed from a neutral one into a sad one "I don't know..." he said "you don't know?" you asked and he replied with a single nod, you decided not to say anything else to not the atmosphere worse
A few minutes of silence Aether unexpectedly grips your shoulders scaring you in the process "Do you still have your powers and wings?!" he uneasily asked "yes, why?"
"Sigh, this might sound impossible but my powers were taken, I still had my powers when we entered this world but when we wanted to leave, a lady that called herself the "sustainer of heavenly principles", she captured Lumine and was about to capture me too but my powers were strong enough to stop her from capturing me but it costed my powers, I woke up by the shore, there I met Paimon"
"Paimon?" you asked, a floating child suddenly appeared beside Aether, she had white hair, dark purple eyes, and was wearing a long-sleeved white jumper and a night-blue cape flecked with stars, and white stockings with white boots. Rose-gold embroidery and shapes are attached to her jumper, boots, and sleeves. She also had a halo and had some kind of astronomy particles.

"Hi! I'm Paimon!" she said giving you a small wave "Wow! She's like the fairies I met a few worlds ago!" you said as you closely examined her "Nice to meet you Paimon! I'm (Name)!" you shook her hand with excitement as she sweats at your action.
"Please calm down (Name), you're making Paimon nervous" Aether said "Paimon thinks your brother is weird" Paimon whispered to Aether making you giggle at the comment and said a simple "thanks" making Paimon shiver and hide behind Aether.
"Haha, don't worry Paimon, (Name) here is normally weird" Aether explained as she nods "Anyway, does Lumine still have her power?" you ask. Aether shrugged "I don't know...I haven't found her yet"
"I'm sure she's out there, waiting for us to find her!" you assured him "Yeah but I can't imagine how lonely she is right now, how much she's suffering.." Aether said while looking down at the lake below the bridge
"I've been looking for her..Mondstadt..Liyue..and I still haven't seen her, I hope I can find her when I head off to the other nations of Teyvat.." he said with only few hope seen in his eyes

You and Aether were now heading towards the nation called "Liyue" Paimon had already disappeared when the walking started "So what is this world like?"
Aether started to rant about how great it is here and how fun it is "So you really like it here, huh?" you asked as he replied with a simple "mhm" "What if we find Lumine and you get your powers back, will you stay here or travel to another world?" you asked "Hmm, I haven't thought about that, but me and Lumine will decide when we're together again, what about you, where will you go when me and Lumine find each other? Will you go back home to mom and dad?" he asked
'Go back home?...no, I will never go back there ever again..' "No, I will go on my own journey, I will prove to them that I'm already mature enough to go on my own" you lied
You told him you would prove them wrong but all you wanted was to find happiness somewhere else, you loved being with Aether and Lumine but you were scared that they will found out what your "parents" and you'll break their "perfect" family picture, you wanted them to continue to see "your parents" as the perfect parents.

Mondstadt was breathtaking but this is beyond what I was expecting it to look like!" you said looking around at all the new places there are.
"Haha, it's nice to have someone around aside from Paimon again, are you gonna be traveling with me?"
