Gate Fanfiction: Thus the Garserians Held (DISCONTINUED AND OUTDATED LORE)

Major Announcement

Hello there readers, this is an announcement that I'm going to make and it's important.

Due to a plethora of issues from a difficult year, some personal fallout, and other major issues I've lost motivation on continuing this particular fanfiction (and being silent for a long while for a certain few people). That and at this point, I've made a bunch of lore over my original world that most of my original characters in this fanfiction are now "outdated". Making it hard for me to continue this fanfiction.

For me, it's quite difficult to imagine that I'll be stopping progress of this book. But sorry, I've all lost motivation to write this particular book.

Fanfictions are a wonderful thing, a writer can choose a series they want and make their own twist upon that. And there shines creativity... But I can't help but see some difficulty in writing that kind of stuff. That's just my personal opinion but it does feel that way to me, which is why I slowly lost interest in my Gate fanfiction. So many things I want to put but hampered by the Gate's lore. Fear if I might make something different that would warrant issues with Gate lore. That sort of thing. It kills my fun and desire to write.

Which is why I'm more open to making original books. I've deleted the rest of my old fanfictions as they are not to my standards and constantly remind me of the eerie feeling of something I did was wrong and detrimental to that series' lore. My attention is now more on original pieces as a result.

One of my original works of which is set in the world where the Garserians are set in. Check out the book, Blood Be Spilt if you want. It's basically my own original story, and a story where the Garserians you read on this book do their own stuff in the world that I created. It's far from complete but in all honesty, I had more fun writing it than doing this fanfiction.

It doesn't mean that I'll completely stop writing though. I'm just shifting my attention to writing things that seem "fun" to me. Remember, I'm not a professional author and I only write for fun. I may eventually return to writing fanfiction again one day, but until then, my interest is in original works where I can freely explore my own story, and have the freedom to portray what I want without having to worry if I correctly follow series lore in fanfiction or not.

And truth to be told... I have "rushed" to the creation of this fanfiction due to trying to impress some bros, but now eeeh... It really fell out of my favor.

I won't delete this fanfiction as I did with the others. And no, I won't be letting this fanfic be up for adoption. The Garserians, and my original characters are my intellectual property (even if they are inspired by media), and I am still desiring to write upon them, just in other works.
